This, however, is 100% with AC off.

Also, the guess-o-meter is calculated off of your "Total" average. You can reset this and hypermile for a while to get there.

I am curious, is the few miles of range gained by shutting down the AC system worth the tiny gain in miles achieved? for me it isn't.

Living in Norway where it was -25c this winter, and now +25c -- hell no. And it can be as high as 60km extra in the guess-o-meter. Of course this isn't right as it won't be blasting at full power for that long, but fun to see the high number.

I have never seen such a large variation because of the AC being on.

maybe if the climate control is being used to warm the car such a variation is possible. but that is not AC.

heating the cabin of an EV can consume a large amount of the range in the battery.

Mine P+ Battery, with 100% SOC it shows 250 miles. I drive all the time, on Sport mode with AC on to 70F with 20' wheels

Now in tropical summer - together with my overheating pano roof - the AC takes off 10% range easily. Next time I charge, I will check the guessometer with and without AC...

I also stopped driving for range. In my first winter with the car, I wanted to see, what range I could get out of it, if I needed.

Hi!

I wonder if you can comment on what the indicated range is when you have charged to 100%, and which battery type you have.

Mine shows 440 kms, and I have the Performance Battery Plus. I expected a little more range than that.

Cheers!
I’m get +300 miles with my Performance Battery Plus.

Typically about 220 miles in TS with 21" for me, driven at a normal brisk speed in a mix of town, country and motorways.

At fast road / race pace it does about 100 miles from 100% at a max, with reduced performance <20%

Also, how many km/mi do you already have on your car as the first 500 miles or so there is no regeneration to allow for bedding the brakes. Range tends to increase after regeneration kicks in.
This is nice to know. I was wondering why the car didn't regenerate when I hit the brakes. And now suddely (Indeed after 500km) is started to regenerate. I wonder what I had done in the setting, but this explains why it has started to regenerate. Thanks again...

My indicated bat+ range @100% is 310kms (15-20C, 21").
Average 27KWh/100kms after 12.000kms.
I don't get how people get over 400kms. I never got 400kms on my display (actual or projected)
Maybe they drive 70kmph, but why do you spend the money on a Porsche then?

Guess we have to wait for warmer weather for one, but 400 km range sounds like utopia to me as well. I have lately seen only 300 to 340 km range at 100% (calculated from 80% SoC)

My 2020 Turbo S recently has seen a large increment in range. The outside temperatures in Madrid are now in the 30°C´s and with the Mission-E´s and Pirelli P7’s my range with A/C in Eco Mode and driving it like it was mine (LOL - I did not steal it) in Normal Mode, with a mix of city, suburban, roads and highways, I am seeing 327km. with 85%. This extrapolates to 385km. I hope to reach 400km in Range Mode during my looooooong trip if I can keep to posted speeds… I am sure the big difference is that when I start the car the battery is between 22°C and 27°C, so there is no pre-heating necessary with the corresponding consumption associated.

I had a couple of hour trip recently, mainly highway driving. On the road I was typically in the 70 to 80 mph range. I'm still in the break in period with 1k miles. But what impressed me the most was the range estimate on the battery.

I had 245 miles estimated on the battery when I left. And had 80 miles left after my trip. Sure enough, I checked the trip data and I did travel 165 miles.

So much better than the Tesla we have. I do the same trip with that car which says I have over 300 miles of charge when we start. And sure enough, we get home with about 40 miles of charge left.
