Thanks Damien. Will ask Porsche dealer to find out before calling electrician to install 3 phase socket. My PMCC also indicate 3P+N+PE. Most Norwegian houses don't have Neutral line.

Thanks David. I see that you have neutral line on your configuration. My question is if Porsche PMCC works on 3 phase 240V supply without neutral line (L1, L2, L3, PE).

The eletronic engineer did that for me, I have no idea about neutral line

Multiple phases and usually an earth means you don’t need an actual neutral if my understanding is correct. How and why is beyond me.

Because the three live wires are out of phase, each live wire can act as the currency return path for another live wire and thats why neutral can be optional on these circuits.

Outside and in the driveway making it convenient to charge our own cars and guest cars. I briefly considered a garage install, but it's not like I am charging every day.

Finally picked up my car a couple of weeks ago, and got to use my home charger. I opted for an 80A Clipper Creek (was hoping for 100A), as I only had a 1" conduit from my panel, which was a long way away, and through a thick cement stem wall. Even though I am not getting the full charging from the upgraded onboard charger, I am still very happy with it.

Interestingly enough, the Clipper Creek factory is only about 10 miles from my house.
