There is a wheels and tires subforum where after market wheels are being discussed.
What tires do you recommend for 22” wheels on a Taycan 4s
Front wheel 22 x 9
Rear wheel 22 x 10.5
I was thinking about going 35 series for the front because I want some extra tire for the pot holes
What do you think of these tires below, do you think it will rub?
Front: 275/35R22 or 265/35R22
Rear: 305/30R22

The dealer told me that being “closed” they optimize better the battery brake recovery… i think that as a stock option they are fine, I’m looking for an aftermarket add on…. Any suggestions?
sorry my friend. Not the best man to help you. I prefer to keep it on factory options but I’m sure you’ll find multiple posts here in the forum about aftermarket solutions

I recommend keeping it on 21” wheels!

Have to agree. They look like something you might have as winter wheels.

I'm not really a fan of wheels where spokes look to have been filled in.

That said, each to their own.

Thanks for the pic!

They do look meh even though I ordered them planning to put snow shoes on them.

Why did Porsche has to fill them in with this Aero design, would look better without the middle plate infill, otherwise would be more like classic RS Spyder wheel.

The picture is of the standard GTS wheel and not the RS Spyder wheel which looks the same as it does on any other Porsche. Note that the same wheel is available on non GTS variants but coloured silver and black.

Yep, thanks for pointing it out.

I am aware the posted pictures show the standard Taycan GTS wheel, which are what I have ordered for my GTS sedan. And to clarify my point, the name “RS Spyder wheel” to me looks like these:

Now look at the standard GTS wheel:

Wouldn’t you agree the two wheel styles above look similar, except the difference caused by the aero design infill plate, which ruined the GTS standard wheel? I wish Porsche didn’t incorporate the aero design:facepalm:

To complicate the matter, I know all Taycan could specify “RS Spyder wheel” which looks different to my impression of what RS Spyder wheel supposed to look like. They look like 911 GT3 wheels. But I must admit I am ignorant about how Porsche name their wheels and maybe I have made a big mistake in regards to my understanding

I will for sure be looking for a summer set and this is what I set my eyes on at the moment, any thought?

I'd simply stick with the Porsche RS Spyders. The ones you've indicated look great too but resale may be better with Porsche rims.

The STD wheel is spoiled with the aero nonsense but perhaps in real life it's a grower. Deliberate ploy by Porsche to force people to upgrade rather than simply bundle the Spyders with the GTS.

Had a quick look and find this option: Vossen - very similar to the GTS 21’ spyder

I seem to be the only one, but I like the standard wheels.
Get out you non-believer! :D

Wheels are a very subjective aesthetic thing. And it's always good we all like different things.

To another poster about filling them in...I would imagine it makes them cheaper to make for a given strength requirement (and I suspect the Taycan will need very strong wheels, given the weight of it!). There may also be some sort of aero benefit....but if that's really the case, I'm surprised Porsche don't offer some seriously aero wheels as an expensive cost option :)

Having found out how Porsche prices things and as my first Porsche, I am shocked they haven't optioned the engine and chassis.

What happens when you really don't pay attention to the configurator:
