Storage of the mobile charger

I recently picked up my 2020 Taycan Turbo S after a repair. The service manager said he noticed I was storing the mobile charger in its case in the front and that it should not be stored in the front, only in the back, because it can "mess with the electronics". As I drove off, I started to think about this. How can an unplugged charger affect anything....it is inert. Anybody have any thoughts on this? Is there any truth to the idea that the mobile charger shouldn't be stored up front.....and why?

I never heard that. mine has been in the frunk for two months since I moved and no longer use it.

I use mine to charge at work, often 2 or 3 days/week and keep it in the front as this is the most convenient space. No one has mentioned this before. I did have a problem with the communication of the car to the servers, but the dealer hasn't tried to blame this. As stated, when disconnected I don't see how it can cause a problem. Seems an odd suggestion.

Mine has lived in the froot/frunk since day 1.
Posted on here asking what others do - and plenty do the same.

I store mine in the cubby under the trunk floor (not in case). I would not worry about storing it in the frunk though.
