Have people found that you can typically 'beat' the EPA range or the range listed on dashboard in the Taycan?

Yes. Lots of articles about it on the web.

My range has been very close to EPA when driven gently. It's below when driven like a Porsche should be driven.

There’s a real wide range (sorry) of data out there. Location specific conditions make a huge difference. After close to a year with the car in the UK, well above EPA in the height of Summer, but in and around the EPA figures in the Winter with a cold-ish battery. That’s while driving it very gently.

I can get 214 or so miles in decent weather @ 100% charge if I drive gently.

Probably about 185-190 if I drive normal (harder).

That’s interesting, on good weather and driving normally I easily hit 250-260, driving “gently” and with Range mode I have hit 290. But this is in 70F.

In winters I have easily managed 230.

Yes.
Example from yesterday.
Scenario: Have been out of town 8 days car charged to 85% as usual. At 19C (in garage) 285 miles is normal. Actual OAT 15C in the valley and 11C in the mountains. Spring temps in the mountains at 4606' to 7001' elevation. So coolish and not quite optimal battery temps.
Added a little extra charge as I was going to travel between 100 and 200 miles with no EA chargers along the route.
Charged to 93% SoC at departure. Projected 314 miles.
Drove 126.6 miles. Remaining miles 158 at 50% SoC.
26.6 miles was residential/city speed limit 25 to 35 mph in Normal mode.
55 miles freeway 70 mph speed limit and 45 miles mountain freeway 65 mph limit. Climbed 2395’ and descended same.
Drove in Normal and Sport mode.
Possibly exceeded triple digit speeds on 6 occasions in Sport and Sport+.
At middle point of trip made four stops at different mountain city appointments.
Actual numbers below. Driving time 2 hrs 50 mins. Parked time at elevation 2 hrs 10 mins.
Total trip time exactly 5 hrs.
(Apologize for the blurry images).
Edit: Still running 20" Pirelli snow tires.

This is interesting and provides an opportunity to test the consumption figure on the trip meter.

You travelled a total of 127 miles
You used 43% of the battery capacity.

Your calculated consumption is ((87.4*(.93-.5))/127)*100 = 29.6 kWh/100m
The figure from the trip meter is 30.2 kWh/100m

All in all pretty close given the limits of the system. I have always wondered as to the accuracy of the trip figures and what you would get from a calculation.

0.6 difference over 100+ miles is pretty close. If we extrapolate over 300 miles 1.8 variation is good.
Added an edit to original post that I am still running on my 20" Pirelli snow tires.
Thank you.

Also interesting and assuming a linear Range vs Percent Charge (which may not be the case near the endpoints of the curve), a back of the envelope calculation shows 158 mi/0.5 = 316 miles.

In my case, using the same assumption, I get 226/0.83 = 272 miles. I'm amazed on how different these numbers are for everybody given the current state of health of each vehicle.

Very impressive indeed....
after 8 months and 10,000 miles (16,000km) of similar driving I get around 199 miles at 85% charge at this time of the year (10C outside temp), so extrapolated range of 235 miles (375km) at 100%. Could go up to 250 miles (400km) at 100% during summer time (25C oustide temp); and as low as 190 miles (300km) in winter (sub zero temperature).
4S + big battery; 21'' summer kit; 20'' Porsche winter kit.

Amazing range. I got 185.2 miles of range yesterday @85% charge. Guesstimate was 212 @85% before I started. Best I've ever seen is 214 @ 100%

That is close to what I see as a starting guesstimate (212 @ 85%)
