If you go down the thread you can see the map spread which is impressive. 1,500 superchargers available to non Tesla owner.

Obviously you need the 150kw upgrade or you only get 50kw from them but if you do have it this is excellent news for road tripping.

Yes that is very helpful for travelling in France!

And the best about this is that there normally are between 12 to 28 charging stalls on each site. Very seldom that you stop at a site that is fully occupied! Great for long distance driving. So happy I have the 150 kW option!

The tesla sites are a good backup plan. I don't use it often but it is nice to know that there is a huge amount of chargers nearby if any other option fails.

I am not so fond of big government, but in this case, the EU did a good job of standardizing the charging infrastructure soon. And forcing Tesla to comply. Much better than what is happening in the US with the CSS vs NACS battle. A useless waste of resources.
