there is a very noticeable difference. With that being said the 4S has a lot of umph and the upgrade wouldn’t be for everyone. The turbo is my wife’s and I don’t think she has put the throttle even half way down once. So even the base would have probably been enough for her.
This is the one I am considering.

Hi all, greetz from the Netherlands.

I am considering trading/selling my MY23 CT 4s (Dec 2022) with abt 18.000km, see pic, for a very well specced MY22 Turbo S CT with 28.000km (Q4 2021 built).
Coming from a RS5 (stage 3 700bhp 920Nm) and also this CT4s, I feel that the 4s is a bit underpowered in comparison. A fantastic ride though but I miss the "speed" factor.

Just want to hear your opinions, seeing the current market, if forking out €30k+ for the trade would make sense - tech offer wise.

Do I miss out sth as I feel the TS seem relatively "cheap" as compared to the 4s. Is there a particular reason for it why TS and T models drop faster?

Is the MY22 TurboS still a safe bet going forward as compared to ny current 4s as I intend to keep that TS for a longer period as I love driving the Taycan. Speed is not everything, but do miss it.

Any

feedback would help. I also throw in a poll, please do eleborate on whether to stick to the 4s CT or move to a TS CT.

Many thanks as I can't think rational now :) (like what happens when selecting options).
But sticky rubber and drive the 4S like you stole it, even in the UK wet ( can't do that in a TS ) - save 1yr warranty, £30k - £40k min, plus a HUGE load of depreciation, go 40m further on a charge, The TSCT could be a pup in hiding re reliability issues on heaters / 12v battery drain, suspension wear and more motor noise. Go on a long euro road trip and use it as a GT as intended. France, Spain, Alps and Germany are fab places for super easy fast travel and faultless fast charge network. Enjoy and don't fall into the 'bigger is better dick swinging contest....it is short lived and not worth it. 95% of the time the 4SCT is the sweet spot. That said, it's your cash and your call. One life, live it.....Petrol TS Techart ???

Hi all. Thank you for the insights. I pulled the trigger on a MY22 Turbo S cross with trade in MY23 4s Cross.
Love the specs and surprisingly the top up was "reasonable".

It remains a bit of a gamble down the road with respect to further depreciation, but love the full specs on this one.

As far as the year you’re not downgrading anything on the car other then losing a year of warranty. Granted it may be a CPO car which you would actually gain more warranty.
I got anothet year warranty on it until end of 2024 and got a 2 year on top of that discounted. So warranty runs out by dec 2026. Should be good!

Bought it and got 3 years CPO+assistance with it. Warranty until end of 2026.

When it comes to electric cars, newer is always better. You do not want to trade a battery for a one year older battery.

If speed isn't important to you, then no point in getting a turbo. The 4S isn't exactly a slouch.
yeah it would make more sense to wait and see if want to trade for a facelifted GTS. At least some actual difference.

Well done! If money is no issue, spend it all on your favourite toys :)
And report back the difference between Turbo and 4s. When I drove the Turbo S it felt quicker between 50 and 90mph and again picking up pace a lot faster after 120mph.

Will report back the difference between 4SCT and CTTS with respect to handling/speed and the differences in the options. Will need to drive it a bit first from Tuesday onwards. Happy with the specs and the looks. Now drive it and experience, can't go very wrong I guess.

haha I am like you and can't get enough of the feeling of press your back onto the seat acceleration. Back then when I bought my 911 C2S, there were periods when I regretted not getting a GTS or turbo but just couldn't accept that big depreciation hit so never did it. This time, I made sure I got the turbo and loving every minute of it.
So happy I took the TTS...I will do a write up about the difference after I drove it for a bit, otherwise I would be more of an "emotional" review and I try to compare carefully between the 4s and the TTS.

Maybe wait for a couple of charging cycles too so you can give a review on the range differences as well. It could be a little bias because I am sure right now you're flooring it at every red light like I did in the beginning when it was new ;)

Will do, but according to the app over 27.000km of driving by the 1st owner, the overall average shows a bit over 22kWh/100km. About the same as my previous 4s. I expected worse. No big deal as that will go up with my driving style, but if you want to on a longer trip also the TS can be driven rather economically.

If I’m spending the money on a Turbo S I would do custom build to get exactly what I wanted, I also wouldn’t trade newer for older with EV at this point, maybe in the future when tech is better and EVs are much more commonplace, but not yet. Just my $0.02

Beautiful car as is, I hope you enjoy whatever you choose to do.
