for those that are interested sun coast parts now seems to list and sell the various cables for the PMCC…

https://www.suncoastparts.com/category/TAYCANV3ENCH.html

however the prices are very very high - and confirms assertions (made by me and others) that this is ridiculous pricing for a relatively ho-hum J-1772 EVSE for the North American market

building out a "spare" PMCC for vacation home or otherwise will pencil out as follows:
  • $1980 (MSRP $2127.36)- PMCC
    • they list it as the 19.2 kW unit - but I'm dubious until confirm - this is so new to dealers and such that it could easily be the NA 9.6 kW unit
    • Attachments are not included, this is the main charger only. Cables must be purchased separately, you will need a wall-to-charger and charger-to-vehicle cable. See the related items below.
    • NOTE: to use the PMCC above 9.6 kW 50 amps (40 amp charge rate) in North America requires a "bare lead" PMCC supply cable - this cable is _NOT_ listed as a part on the sun coast site - that means even _IF_ this is the 19.2 kW version - you can't use it above 9.6 kW until you can source the "hardwired" PMCC supply cable - not currently listed on sun coast parts site…
  • $699 - PMCC J-1772 vehicle charging cable - not included with the PMCC - OMG
  • $110 - PMCC NEMA 14-50 supply cable (or the 6-50 - you need only one - buy a $30 adapter from amazon to have the other)
  • $110 - PMCC NEMA 5-15 supply cable - household outlet cable
  • $110 - PMCC NEMA 14-30 supply cable - water-heater/electric dryer plug [optional]
  • $169.95 - PMCC Basic Wall Mount Bracket
  • $215 - PMCC Trunk Storage Bag
so to duplicate what comes with the vehicle via parts orders you need:

PMCC, J-1772 cable, NEMA 14-50, NEMA 5-15, Bag, Basic Wall Mount

$1980 + $699.95 + $110 + $110 + $215 + $169.95 = $3284.9 + Tax + Shipping - OMG

and that's _AFTER_ sun coast parts discounts - NOT MSRP! MSRP would be even more.

this is perhaps the most mediocre overpriced J-1772 charger in the world…

really really folks - you can build a much better much more flexible EVSE with a full set of NEMA adapters for way way way less money

here is a site listing from what I can tell _ALL_ the PMCC and related part numbers world wide for Audi - these parts identical to the Porsche PMCC parts - and therefore represent a comprehensive list of potential VW/Audi/Porsche charging parts…

https://audi.7zap.com/en/usa/audi+a3+s3+sportb+lim+qu/a3/2016-745/9/971-971065/

I do not "see" a PMCC supply cable listed on this site for the "barelead/hardwired" connecting cable required for above 40 amp usage in North America.

however the part number for the "complete" set of VW/Audi/Porsche NEMA supply cables are:

7PP 971 678 T - NEMA 6-30
7PP 971 678 AA - NEMA 6-50
7PP 971 678 AB - NEMA 14-30
7PP 971 678 AC - NEMA 14-50

pricing seems to be from $180 and up for each of these cables - LOL - again you purchase an ENTIRE highquality EVSE setup for less than he price of one or two of these cables.

they also list a "US/CAN/MEXICO" cable

7PP 971 678 AR - 30A 1P UL 1M. FESTANSCHLUSS

I'm going to decode/swag/guess as follows:
30A = 30 amps
1P = single phase
UL = UL listed/certified cable
1M = 1 meter?
FESTANSCHLUSS = https://www.linguee.com/german-english/translation/festanschluss.html - fixed connection or permanent connect

so that cable might be what you need for 19.2 kW but 30 amp (if I'm correct) is _NOT_ what you want for 19.2 kw (you need a cable rated for 100 amps - 80 amp charge rate).

no idea what this is for...

so the cable necessary for 19.2 kW charging is MIA on this site - that doesn't mean it does not exist - it just means this site doesn't list it or yet have as a sellable part.

and maybe +$163 for the basic wall mount that has appeared in the online configurator that is unclear if it is needed for PMCC

Btw, you also need extra ~$20 for a holster and cable organizer if you get only the basic mount. Some other chargers already provide that as part of the package.

this is the most expensive mediocre mobile (big & heavy) J-1772 EVSE on the market by a long long ways that still overheats the NEMA 14-50 supply cable when under normal use.

there are soooooo many better options - both mobile and fixed install on the market that are both high quality and fully functional.

I think my total included the basic wall mount - in the list-o-parts I put together.

Where does one find a sun coast discount code or obtain a discount? :)
no specific code or anything, but suncoast is less than MSRP for most porsche parts- for example if you visit the site and look they are charging less than MSRP for the core PMCC unit.
