Just more EVs that are good looking similar to how the Taycan is good looking AND an EV.

High horsepower EVs and good looks shouldn’t be mutually exclusive.

That’s ok, definitely personal preference.

But I can’t count how many times I clicked on an article or video about the “next generation fill in the blank car,” looking at the awesome picture of it……… and it turns out to be just an AI rendering.

Then when the ACTUAL vehicle comes out it’s nowhere near as good looking.
Perfect example:

That car is the long-rumored Tesla Roadster, the design of which has been public knowledge for at least 7 years…

OTOH, you might actually be able to buy the

Yeah the roadster looks great.

There’s no good reason a coupe EV should cost way more than a sedan, SUV or truck.

The list of EVs that i respect the performance aspects of is pretty long.

The list of those same EVs that have looks to match their performance is very short. Especially if you consider the price (there are some amazing looking super cars and absurd prices).

Make the Rivians, Teslas, Lucids and Hummers actually LOOK like they’re high performance vehicles.

I’d throw the Ioniq 5N in that category too.

Looks like the Gravity has a lot of software issues, specifically with AC controls and surround camera according to Out of Spec latests tests.

The interesting part of the Gravity is that the 0 miles test they did yielded almost 7kwh in the battery which made the car run 22 miles at 0.. pretty impressive on one had but pretty silly that the reserve so high and may need to have further tune with the software.

I can only think of a couple of fairly recent cars that looked just about exactly like the concepts when they actually made it into production:

-The original Audi TT

But as you know, generally concept-car designs are altered to make production easier and make the design real-world practical - like the Taycan and Model S.

I can only think of a couple of fairly recent cars that looked just about exactly like the concepts when they actually made it into production:

With 1000hp cars? Yeah kinda.

Or at least the slightly watered down versions that make it to production (like the Taycan).

To the point of the Lucid Air- that thing doesn’t look like it has 1200 hp.

For comparison I present to you the 2015 Chrysler 200. In all it’s glory along with a 184 hp 2.4 L 4 cylinder.

Creating a rendering of concept car (a concept of a concept??) is very different from having the exact design measurements, actual user experience, and having viable mass production though.

Even the original Mission E looks like it can only run on a race track with less thought on practicalities in actual usage and perhaps in production. But it would have been a better looking Taycan.
