Which car gets more attention between Taycan and 911?

In Barcelona I get many turning heads with my Taycan CT ice grey. Many have not seem a luxury EV here. The infra is really poor yet. Also people love the colour.

For those folks that have owned/driven both cars, from your experience, which car would you say garnered more attention? (thumbs up, compliments, head turns, etc) And let’s exclude the GT3 because I feel like it should be in it’s own category.

My 911 was hardly noticed. My Taycan causes small boys to point and grown men to turn and stare, mouths open!
My 911 was never ‘in the shop’ for 3 weeks (and counting) to have dashboard and door rattles fixed. But the dog much preferred the view from the back of the 911.

1000000% the Taycan. I have a carerra white Taycan 4S with Mission E wheels in black with white body colour- and there hasn’t been one day where someone gives me the headshake, thumbs up, jaw drop, asks me for a video or photo. I’m coming from a 2022 BMW M4 competition and I got attention- a lot but not as much as the Taycan. My friend has a 911 carrera in black and he told me absolutely no one says a word ? I believe him. It’s not that people don’t like the 911. It’s the same car. Same styling. Taycan is ??

Maybe it's just Switzerland / me having my eyes trained, but at least in swiss there seem to be a lot more 911s than Taycans.
I got quite a lot of attention and "nice car" driving the taycan here, and obvious bias, I think taycan gets more attention.
The only disappointment is when it gets the attention of a kid, and he/she asks to make "vroom vroom" and I awkwardly have to ignore it, no "vroom vroom" ?

I do think the Mission E wheels are 90% of the reason it gets that attention however. With my winter 20' wheels, not so much. Maybe one of the people with the 22' Rotiform Concept Mission E wheels can confirm if they get 110% attention ?

Realistically, even if there were rattles, you wouldn't have heard them due to the engine noise. Cayman covers all rattles all the same. The downsides of an EV, first world problems vibes ?

No question the Taycan gets way more attention. So many times I have been asked if it’s a Ferrari. To me it’s the most beautiful sedan made. My 911 with a giant wing got some attention but nothing close to the Taycan.

Right, especially around Zurich: highest density of Porsche and Ferrari in the world; 911s are everywhere downtown. Taycan are a bit rarer.
Especially young kids keep looking straight at it, astonished.

Yep, the 911 is a dick magnet. If you cruising for compliments from men, you need a 911.

I entered the Florida Crown Spring Concours at The Brumos Collection in Jacksonville Florida this past weekend. 60 cars entered and I was the only Taycan. During the event I had lots of folks comment on and ask questions about the Taycan. Almost all loved the color (chalk) while a small minority asked if I had experienced any problems (almost 16,000 miles and no issues). Based on my small sample size and unbiased opinion, Taycan got lots of attention…

Never owned a 911, although I came close a couple of times. I’m historically a BMW guy but never anything more notable than an E46 M3 and E24 M6. NONE of my cars have ever attracted attention, other than the M3. But that’s probably because it was Imola Red. In general, I prefer not having a car that draws attention.

I’m chiming in here because I’ve been surprised by just TWO weeks of Taycan ownership. Mine is a 2021 CPO and sure, there’s almost no way for anyone to know just by looking at it. And I live in San Francisco, which is littered with Porsches of every stripe. Heck, Ithere are other Porsches in my build in and I’m not even the only one with a Taycan.

To me, this car has drawn stupid amounts of attention. I’ve had regular comments from strangers, including people driving up to me at charging stops to tell me, “cool car, dude!”. People walking their dogs down the street have engaged me in conversation. And the kicker: two of these people eventually asked me if I work for a living. Seriously?? (And yes, I’m just a working stiff).

JEEZ. This car cost me less than the Tesla Model 3 I bought in 2022. I love the car but if there’s one downside, it appears that “regular” folk think this is some sort of high 6-figure exotic.
