Update. My car was in for the 4th for this issue and now it looks like it is fixed.

first software update. Second analysis and need to order parts. Third replaced 2 handles only the ones that whereaffected. Fourth visit : all 4 handles replaced.

And now it works like it should. Handles don’t retract anymore just after opening and comfort closure works and no immediate reopening. Before the fix it happens on daily base and I haven’t seen it now since yesterday on multiple occasions. Fingers crossed.

I informed them about the fix after reading on this forum but it took them 4 times. They would listen. Takes quite a bit of time because the handles need to be painted bodycolor.

First doorhandle installation wasn’t prefect. Some pieces of metal left that should have been cut of. Fortunately now they did a good job and it looks perfect.

Will give it try this afternoon. I think it may be different because I usually walk to the back. It is now also happening with the key. Maybe I should try to stand still until locked ?

Did you ever give this a try? How about now after the fix, does walking next to your car's side fender and towards the front unlock it?

I also found some ways to avoid the unlocking like you did. But now after the fix I can just walk away in any direction after pushing the handle and it just closes.

Compared to before the fix, closing is more fluent. It always had some hesitation whether it would close or not. Sometimes it did continue closing and sometimes it didn’t and reopened and unfolded the mirrors.

Throughout this summer my car didn’t unlock itself after locking even once, until yesterday It did not recognize the touch to open a bunch of times, but not reliably. So my issue is I don’t have a reliable repro to even take it to the dealer, which means no way for them to even know if the problem is fixed. I actually suspect the car not extending the handles on touch may just be poor software (gone into some deep sleep mode after being parked for a long time), so not something a dealer can fix.

My car did this from the first week I picked it up and still does. My dealer said they are aware of the problem and they need to replace all four door handles. They said the handles are backed up in Germany. That was over a year ago!

Mine also did this from day one. It is fixed now. Redesigned door handels since a couple of months. Last week al 4 were replaced for new ones.

They now about this problem and can measure the door handels to confirm. They did this in May and 2/4 were defective on mine. They don’t actually have to see the unlocking it self if you report the problem. All 4 need to be changed to the latest version.

I saw that, but that seems to only apply to MY2022. It also states it is for cars manufacture before May 2022, mine was manufactured in December.

Mine was delivered in may and produced in March. That could be a difference.

Trunk button didn’t have any problems in mine either. With the driver side it happens more than 50% if attempts.

Instant unlock on mine stopped doing it when the weather got warm, just had the first occurrence last night when it got cooler The handles presenting when I touch them (I have it setup to not auto present when I walk by it) works about 2/3rd of the time, almost always if recently locked.

I have this exact issue, the car immediately unlocked after I touched the handle to lock it. Went into the service last week for another issue (loud grinding noise when A/C is on) and asked the SA about this TSB, he said they will be replacing all 4 door handles but need 3-4 weeks to order them. I will be coming back in to service to replace the handles when the they arrived.

Finally had all 4 door handles replaced. Immediately unlocking is no longer an issue.
