How does one get notified?
When you start the car? After 10 minutes? Half an hour? After shutdown?
I've had OTA in the past but can't remember how and when I got notified...

I just pressed updates icon on the PCM and I see it was available. I do that since I disabled automatic updates, or I think you get notified.

I was driving for about 10min or so and the software update message popped up. Later when back home I started the process. Matter of minutes before all was installed

Me too Dee, I think we both have FOMO haha. This is what I've become: a 30-something eagerly waiting for a not-so-sexy OTA.

I’m proud to say I’ve been recall-free now for one day. Nothing in the app, on the Porsche Website VIN check or Government site.

The recalls did not clear after the first download on 17/6 - this may have been within the pilot - so my dealer raised a ticket. A second download was then installed this week and this seemed to clear the recalls within a couple of days.

I am waiting for WRS0 to be installed next week.

The links above state that there are no outstanding recalls, yet the PPN system is accurate and lists WRS0 as outstanding.


My feeling is that if you want accurate data on recalls, you have to refer to the Porsche partner Network (PPN) website

Agreed @Shug the recall.porsche VIN checker showed mine had no recalls the whole time I had the orange triangle in the app. After it went in for ARB6 recently ct14garage kindly sent me a screenshot of what I assume is PPN showing nothing outstanding, whereas before it went in ARB6 & WSA1 was there.

It’s a muddle.
It took a while but eventually all 3 points I mentioned above showed my recall. Then it took 2 updates before they all cleared.

Mine is a November 2022 build MY23 - the OTA update for WRS0 was notified at 22:00 on Thursday (17 July) evening and installed later that night.

Can’t detect any noticeable difference.

Incidentally I received a letter about the update today, from Porsche Cars GB dated 16 July. So all quite timely.
