I had my uPdate done on September 8 but went on vacation shortly thereafter, so I have only done about 500 miles since. Even though the guess-o-meter system may have been reset and the car may still be learning my driving style (which is actually mocked by several forum members :) ), no clear increase in range is apparent yet. Quite the contrary. Both attached pictures have been taken one year apart in similar temperature conditions. Both with a 99-100% SoC and the settings set at maximum range projection by switching the airco off and putting the car in Range mode. The November 6, 2021 pic (pre-uPdate) shows 350 miles at 99% and the September 28, 2022 pic (post-uPdate) shows 341 miles at 100%. The guess-o-meter may still adjust a little upwards in the weeks to come, but I do not expect a relevant uPdate range increase.
Insane numbers - ought to share these with Porsche!! - but curiously I have seen an identical drop of ca 8-10 miles in range however I have barely put 100 miles on it since the update - will be interesting to see if it climbs back to or past my previous highs.

It is only downhill here, that helps. So you lost 10-15% range after the uPdate? Is your system still adapting after the reset, you think?
I have indeed if not more.

Car is getting its first 2 year service this month and I've alerted the garage to the problem. They've not heard of anyone losing range post uPdate

It feels like a chunk of cells are offline - perhaps the "+" pack of the PB.

Sounds unlikely but something odd has happened.

Pretty sure also that some range has returned so the actual loss has been greater - I took screen shots of charging sessions which I'll need to collate.

Time will hopefully tell.

What if uPdate disabled the "+"?
I'm charging right now... Started at 18% SoC... will see how much KWh will be added.
(according to app, 100% will be reached at 12:50.)

That's my current theory (hope I'm right)!

What's the ambient and interested to hear back once your session completes - let it settle for 10 mins or so?

I'm not sure if I understand your question (settle for 10 mins?)
Ambient in the garage? It's about 14 degrees C. Battery temperature was 18C.
It's 10:38 right now, I started to charge at 9:10AM (3-phase 400V, 32A), currently it works 20,5kw (showing 55% Soc and estimated range 201 km).

BTW: are others, who are reporting increase range, having PB or PB+?

Settle - let the battery cool down after charging. AC won't heat as much as you know but you may notice a KM or so being dropped from the initial readout.

Ambient is similar to my garage currently so the results should be interesting.

I'm not planning to drive the car before 4.00PM, so it will be settled down for sure.

According to the app: 3.9 mi/kWh
That is unbelievable. What distance would you have driven then?

I can at best get 3 mi/kWh over distance but have seen some unbelievable figures as well!

But that is going downhill about 500 meters difference in altitude. ;)

We need to see Total Trip and over a decent mileage to get a more accurate average rather than a downhill 'coast'.

I've not reset my Total Trip since day one and with 17.7K miles on the clock my average consumption has been 3.3mi/kWh (which equates to 259 miles of range regardless of what the battery display conjures up (always much less). Due to this I'm reasonably happy with my actual range over decent distances and slightly perturbed that the estimated range after charging is significantly lower than other folk in UK are reporting. Could just be a software glitch (not been many of those on the Taycan!).

I haven't reset my total trip since day one as well.
Here are data: 22.402 km, avg.speed 48 km/h, avg.consumption: 19,4kwh/100 km.

Since last charging: 264km, avg.speed 50 km/h, avg.consumption: 24,7 kwh /100 km.
