Confirmed. In my case it no longer even tries to connect to the car, simply says "vehicle not reachable" while showing all the other updated info (e.g., state of charge, windows, pre heating, etc) ie the vehicle is in reality connected . bunch of German amateurs (in the negative sense :))
I think Porsche screwed up the server side with the update. For the last 3 weeks when I went out Friday night, I was unable to turn on pre-conditioning via the app. It has worked in the same spot for almost a year, and full LTE bars are showing. It works other times, but not on a Saturday around 3am - perhaps the server software is so unstable it requires constant rebooting, but nobody there to reboot on Saturday? Or maybe it has an auto system wide reboot on Saturday 3am, because someone figured this is the least likely an average Porsche owner would be driving?

Just got an answer from Porsche Customer Relations, which translates more or less like:

"After further testing by the Technical Department, we recommend that you contact your Porsche Center for comprehensive support regarding the Remote Park Assist function in the MyPorsche application. They will be happy to provide you with specialist assistance and detailed information. If the Porsche Center staff cannot solve the problem immediately, they will have to open a technical file (PRMS) to analyze the problem further."

These people are hopeless ?

Your Porsche Centre is for sure going to break out their Xcode and start doing some Objective C and Swift debugging!

In other words they are not even aware the problem exists (didn’t find a related open ticket), and are pushing onto Porsche Center the need to create one. I’ve been dealing with very flaky door handles, on a second set already, dealer hesitant about just swapping handles, even though the new ones repro a problem easily. They are still waiting on Porsche what to do next.

I’ve been dealing with very flaky door handles, on a second set already, dealer hesitant about just swapping handles, even though the new ones repro a problem easily. They are still waiting on Porsche what to do next.
Likely. My guess is that the the first assistance team (those who received my ticket) is made of poor clueless dogs (same via phone) who have prob never even seen this car (or any other model) in person or been trained for that.

Tbh, the nearest dealer 5 mins away, HQ of Porsche Switzerland - where I do the periodic car servicing - manages a big stock of taycan and has direct very fast connections into Germany. So they would prob be able to get closer to the problem s root if not fix it (they solved the tricky FAL reset issue in two days on my earlier 2020 turbo). The overall ”pain” (booking, leaving the car, etc etc) is equal to the happiness times the probability of having it fixed…

Take it in and get a nice loaner for a few days. I’d like to hear that there’s a fix for this.

LOL, the exact same calculation I have been doing for my door handles. However, at some point I feel just want to see it finished/fixed, so dropping the car off for a 3rd visit for the same problem (more or less) next week. Hoping for an actual diagnosis rather than swapping out parts to see if it works. ?

PS> Too bad they don't have the new Macan EV as loaners. I would like spend a few days with one.

I just asked for an appointment, let's see (loaners are hard to get in CH, it s a spoiled market). You are, I'm afraid, very optimistic about the fix :).
I took mine in the week and they gave me a Cayenne. A couple of days later they had a ‘24 Taycan 4S so we came back to swap it out. It’s nice to see what other variants drive like

Ditto. I’ve been searching for a resolution for about 2 weeks now. Just came across this forum. My vehicle refuses to connect to the app no matter how close I am.

There was a new release of the app (v10.1.0) 5 days ago but unfortunately this feature is still broken for me. :-(
