Hey there standard battery owners, what's your real world highway range?

I know, I know, temperature, speed and all affect the range. But I'm curious if there are any folks out there road tripping with the standard pack. What have you all been seeing at 70-75 MPH? I've been waiting for a 4S with the + pack but found the perfect vehicle that only has the smaller battery. Thanks!

I can make a guess but I am interested to hear from the actual owners.

I could go only 200 miles after charging 95% and arriving with 4 miles left on a PB+ driving 75-80 mph in 40F weather.

My guess is 4S with a PB can only cover 160 miles under the same conditions.

I would say those are more severe conditions, but good to know.

Mine goes about 260 in summer and about 235 in winter..my "standard" battery has somewhat degraded in 4 years (to approx 90%) so a new one would do better. My car is RWD so that probably helps range a little.

Is this highway at 70+ constant speeds to cover at least 200 miles or in town?

Highway, typically 70+ ..what I particularly liked about the standard battery was: it saved weight..so car not coping with more weight (and range not impeded by more weight). Since I have to stop every 150-200 miles anyway (to pee / to get starbucks! rinse and repeat), that works out fine for me. Luckily charging has gotten much better in the last 4 years so shorter range less of an issue.

@262X40.

This is the latest Edmunds data, so you can reference what they did to achieve stated ranges.
My setup is 21-inch Mission-Es and I have electric charge port that increases drag, but otherwise, I have nothing else (such as front license plate) to make me less aerodynamic.

Ambient is 83F, that is ideal conditions to achieve 31.3 kW/100miles.

Have to believe Edmunds forgot the “+”, this figure has to be the big pack. Also, I’m going for the Mission E wheels. Thanks!

Really? The smaller batter does 235 for you in winter at 70 MPH?
