Wow, this has been a journey and I've learned a lot from this group. That said, I still have some apprehension about the options list - I am way over budget and skipping some non-essential stuff like simulated sound. Please take a look and let me know if I am making any mistakes, THANK YOU!

1. Neptune Blue/Chalk leather and logo on front headrest (wanted to consider race-tex but I cannot find it anywhere here)
2. Performance Plus Battery and onboard 150 kw charger (also buying the Tesla Tap adapter)
3. Rear axle steering/adaptive air suspension (my wife has "issues" with parallel parking)
4. 20 inch Turbo Aero wheels with colored Porsche center crest
5. Premium Package (now includes retractable side mirrors!)
6. Innodrive, ACC and LKA (trying to future proof the car)
7. Intelligent Range Manager (again, future proofing move)
8. Rear 2+1 seats (don't need them as my kids are grown but I expect it to help resale)
9. Deletion of model designation (because I'm a minimalist at heart)

Please weigh in and don't hold back! I can take it! Thank you.

Good list.

1. Agree with just having ACC. Innodrive can be tried in the future

2. With an L2 charger at home and EA expanding everywhere (I'm now 12 for 12 on EA Plug and Charge success), not sure why you think you need the 150KW charger.

3. RAS and air suspension. 100%.

3. With our RWD, we have found that the standard battery is getting almost 280 mile range. Plotted an 8 hour roadtrip on ABRP, and found that big battery gets there about 15 minutes faster (in theory). I saved the money. No regrets at all.

4. Add massage seats. Your wife will love you more.

I'm a neophyte when it comes to the charging issue, the salesperson said he and his manager have been using the onboard charger with public stations and have seen a diff in charge cycle time. However if I get the TelsaTap maybe its irrelevant and I just use that network?

Regarding the battery itself, I've read a ton of threads on this site and found that the bigger battery improves performance (I assume acceleration) and resale value (a no-brainer). I'd be interested to see that debate play out further here, again I am learning.

I'll look into those massage seats - If I drop Innodrive I can afford it!

1. Chalk is GORGEOUS. Go for logo on all 4 headrests. It's not much more and completes the look. (i went crest on console as well)
3. 100% worth it.
4. Great choice - I have them as well w/colored caps.
8. That won't help resale and the middle "seat" area is virtually unusable.
9. 100% agree here as well. MUCH cleaner look and the way it should be.

Dump the Innodrive and sport sound to save $$$. The car makes plenty of natural EV noises.
Also, $1200 for BOSE is worth it if you enjoy music. It's the best BOSE in a Porsche and for me the standard system just lacks too much.

"Music is my life!" - is the $1200 on top of what I am paying in the Performance Package? Thanks!

Yes unless you select Premium Package - it's in included with premium.

The Performance Battery adds HP, but the 0-60 stays the same. I still ordered it as I felt it would help for the range and value of vehicle at trade-in/resale. I agree with @XLR82XS on the crest on the headrests (cheap and looks sharp). Unless they changed it, if you got the Premium Package (pano roof), you should have automatically been upgraded to the Bose.

How much charging do you estimate you will be doing outside of your residence?

Only if someone's a slob. I've had white interiors with no problems. No pets, food, wearing nasty dirty pants.

We live in San Diego and make road trips to Phoenix (6 hrs with a stop in Yuma) and to LA area (2-3 hours). Would love an excuse to go farther and this car provides that too.
