Hi,

is this normal on a brand new Taycan 4S with performance Battery plus?

366 Km equal to 227 miles

A friend of mine, with Cross Turismo al 100% has 410 Km or 254 miles

since the software update that is about what I show as well, but it is known as a guess o meter for a reason. I can usually do over 240 miles at 70 MPH/ 105+kph

Mine is only showing 205 miles (at 100% charge). 4S with PB+

In late summer, it was showing about 260 miles... lower temps have a huge impact on estimated range.

Do your friends call you 'Pedal to the Metal Paolo'? As kort said it's calculating on past experience so if you drive in a more spirited manner than your friend then you will be presented with a lower range.

2021 Turbo: when it was at 100% charge (valets did overnight once), it was showing a 305mi range when I got in.

Mine was 206 the other day. And I reckon would have gone sub-200.

If I wanted to pootle, I'd have bought a Funky Cat.

No you are correct, there is something abnormal.
You should drive it a bit faster like a real Porsche, your figures are way too high.

This is my CT 4S in August and I was just traveling, so imagine if I do it now in winter.
But still traveling without any issue and stopping for max 20min at Ionity every 200 km.

Yes.

How cold / warm (ambient) is it with you as that will be a key factor - cold = less range.

Range will improve over time in general.

you need to respect the limitations of the car, on a long distance ride the need to make it to the next charger out weighs the need to "drive it like a porsche"

when my trips are within the range expectations I do drive it "the way it was meant" to be driven.

I just picked my NTM (new to me) 2020 4S with 25k miles (Perf Battery).

Charged to 100% (will not be my standard practice!) and it reads 227 mi

I try and not do that, but once in a while I forget and it happens.
I've tried limiting my charge via my Computer but it never stops it?
Any suggestions how to get it to actually stop the charge at 80%?

There are a lot of threads on here discussing how to achieve this. The method I use is to set a profile with a value of 40% and also set a daily timer to 80%, set for completion before anyone would normally use the car. This works great for me. When I plug the car in it will immediately charge to 40%. Then it waits until the appropriate time (determined by the car) to start charging my car up to 80% and finishes by the time set in the timer.
