Hello guys,

I upgraded my CT4 2023 (battery+) to CT4 2025 a month ago. I have 3000 km now and want to share some information about improving my mileage.

Usually in the summer I have a 400km journey to my holiday home:
70% highway where I drive 150 - 160 km/h and the rest is 90 - 130 km/h. Only 50 km speed limit, and I drive about 60 km/h. Ambient temperatures are 35 - 39 degrees, inside is set at 22 degrees.

CT4 2023 I had to reload, otherwise I have -10 to - 15% to the destination.

CT4 2025 I can reach my destination with 8 - 11% battery. According to my calculations, the maximum mileage is about 440 km. The best I've achieved is 16% battery when driving on the highway at 140 km/h and not so much traffic the rest of the way.

Regarding charging speed 2025 are much faster, with 300kW charger I have 40 - 71% in just 7 minutes.

Range mode doesn't give much advantage maybe only 3-4% more over Normal at these speeds.

If I drive at night and the ambient temperature is 28 degrees with 120 km, the mileage is close to 480-500 km and the consumption is about 19kW/100km.

The car is faster and very responsive compared to the 2023 model.

Thanks for the comparo. Couple questions if you don’t mind answering:

1- Any difference in your wheel set-up between the two?
2- Do you feel any improvement in suspension comfort, refinement and noise levels?

1. Both are equipped with 20' summer tires. 2023 ones with Pirelli, 2025 with Michelin

2. The 2025 are much silent but I can't compare because now I am with noice reducing windows, old one is not.

Suspension is almost the same I didn't have Active ride option.

Excellent comparison and good information (though I had to convert everything to Imperial units, LOL). Curious, do you use Apple CarPlay and if so, is there a difference from old to new?

I am not using it too much, but all connectivity and multimedia services working better than before. I have some connectivity issues with previews model, now looks like they are solved.

It's crazy how low you get driving at 150-160km/h . I did the drive to my holiday home ( 950km ) at authorized speed + 5%. So 136km/h & 114Km/h. I couldn't get better than 23,5km. Temperature was 28° . I'm used to drive EV since 8 years. It's a ST so I'm supposing not a lof of difference with CT. will try to push to 150Km steady when coming back and see if better :)

Интересно ми е да питам за вашето мнение - Дали си заслужава upgrade-a? Аз също съм със CT23 и се чудя дали има смисъл.

Поздрави!

I am happy with upgrade: range, acceleration are much better. Also there is good discounts - all extras and most useful packages are for free (for vehicles in the store) which make a price similar to previews model.

I went from a 2020 4S to a 2025 Turbo ten days ago. I have driven 100 miles and state of charge is down only 25%. If I understand correctly, the car doesn't even use regen the first 500 miles. If that energy usage holds, it will be a big range boost.

I think regen activation depends on how heavy you are on the brakes in the first several hundred miles, I did a lot of heavy braking (to bed in the pads) and had regen activate after 65miles.

Difference between 2020 4S and 2025 Turbo in terms of power is huge. As others have mentioned here, the 2025 Turbo is insanely quick and you have to be very careful with all that power.

I have also done some miles in a 2025 CT4. Compared to my 2023 CT4 the suspesion is more comfortable, throttle is alot more responsive, it's faster. Noise level is about the same, mine has doble windows, loaner did not have that. Carplay is exactly the same in the two cars. No changes.

I would expect 2025 model to be quieter due to slimmer wheels and maybe better soundproofing. I find my 21' Mission wheels making quite a bit o road noise on coarse surfaces.

I have read several times on this forum that wheels and tires are slimmer on the 2025 model. Being slightly curious and even annoyed at the possibility, I have just checked the sizes of both wheels and tires of the Turbo S and they remain the same. Maybe other variants have slimmer tires now.
