Would it be helpful to post wheel type and size as well? Wondering how much of a difference that would make. I'm on mission Es and have never been able to get anywhere near 290 miles at 100% SOC. That's even with overly babying the car the few days before juicing her all the way. 180-190mi at 80% daily.

I range from 2.7-3.1 kWh/mi with Bay Area temps. Interestingly, my total is 3.4 kWh/mi at 17k miles. Average speed 32mph.

I don’t think the total means much. I think they’re calculating something wrong somewhere.
I’m up to 4.1 now. Mine just keeps rising. 🤷‍♂️

Porsche Taycan 271 miles! 100% charged. What’s your range shown? IMG_8639

The more you drive the 911, the more efficient the Taycan becomes.

Perhaps traffic is getting worse, and you are hypermileing. Is you average speed dropping too?

@Jhenson29 Taycan's consumption calcs are wrong cause he never stops for bathroom breaks on road trips:
Am I the only one that doesn’t have to use the bathroom every 2 hours?

500 miles/7-8 hours is nothing.

On long flights (South Africa, China, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand (through Tokyo)) I typically don’t leave my seat.

Similar range here with Mission Es, though my avg speed is 37. Note, that total mile/kwh statistic in the app is wrong and overstates range.

The tyre width and wheel spoke design will both have an impact on drag but that influence is at its greatest at speed, an average speed of 26mph, for example isn’t likely to be heavily influenced by aero, unless it was high speed driving interspersed with traffic jams.

All the 21” have wider tyres so will have more drag than 20” and 19”

Some spoke designs aren’t very aerodynamic - Mission E, RS Spyder and 21” Cross Turismo for example whereas some will be better, 21” exclusive design for example.

Well I nerver thought I would experience some 430 km (265 miles) range at 100%? But I have. And I have driven the car for 340 km , with 85 km range left. On a mix of traffic in town, French motorway speeds up to 130 km/h as well as 110 km, with fast but smooth driving plus a number of quick overtakes. It is not flat land where I live either. Starts at 500 m above sea level and down to 10m, back to 200 - 250 m and back again to 500 m. So I am very pleased with that result after the disaster of the battery failure.

My car is a 2020 Turbo, 56,500 km on clock, Mission E wheels with 21 inch Good Years. Running recommended tyre pressure, 2 person in car. Normal A/C. Our weather has probably been absolutely ideal with 24 C , dry roads, sunshine, smooth asphalt.

Whatever magic wand the swung over my car at the repair, I like more of that magic, please. They did change the HV battery control unit , two battery modules and a number of smaller circuit boards and updated all SW etc. But after driving the car for some 1500 km after that, I start to believe they have released something extra?

Very much enjoying the car again now!

I have a 2022 CT4 with 21" CT wheels with about 20,000 miles on it now. I use the car as a daily driver (60 % city roads) and see an average around 270-280 miles in spring/summer/fall and drops to about 230-240 in colder weather.
