I just checked my state of health today after a short trip and my battery was at 59% state of charge after a long trip yesterday and two DCFC sessions yesterday. Great news…

1) Delivery Soh - unknown
2) Current SoH 92.46 as reported by Car Scanner
3) Current mileage 85,704 mi 138,000 km (also I want to apologize for the miss-quote of mileage on my February 7 posting, I went back to my Google Docs history and verified that it was actually 81,600 miles as you can actually see in the image below the posting.)
4) kWh DC charging 20,189
kWh L2 11,912
5) Build date Aug 2020
1/3 of a penny/mile seems efficient, until you factor in the 4 sets of tires. ;)
But what I am truly pleased with is 7.5% drop in SoH with nearly 86k miles.

Excellent - best data reporter as always :) - will update chart today. That is by far the biggest recovery Soh reading we've seen to date - you went from 88.3 to 92.4!!

I can add a wee bit to the positive here in that I too did another 're-balancing' after a few back to back 100% charges with a number of longer day trips and gained 1.1% back up to 89.5% SoH at a massive 10K total miles driven :)!! But my low pt was 87.1 so quite pleased.

Can someone help explain why the drop in SoH when there's a drop in SoC? The last time my car was in for service, the dealer had me at 85% SoH. A week ago, I tried to do a rebalance (might be half assed since my car only sat for about 6 hours at 17% before I started charging to 90-95%. I reduced the amperage on my L2 charger so I was charging at about 6kw/hr instead of the usual 9kw. CarScanner had my car art 92% SoH. I drove my car throughout the weekend, then took another reading at about 60% SoC. I was back down to 89% SoH.

What's the correct reading? The dealer's? My initial high or low reading? Perhaps somewhere in between?

Mainly highways (so DC) since last update: i never activate the preserve battery option and I'm always impressed by the charging speeds.

Thank you ciaranop for starting and maintaining this most informative thread!

I purchased a CPO, MY23, RWD, base small battery Taycan with 2640 miles in mid February of this year.
It was a dealer service loaner, put into service July/23 to Dec/23.
Dealer is located in Norwalk CA. Lat. 33° 55'.
I live at 33° 35' So Hot climates?

As of today...
1. unknown
2. SoH 94.49%
3. 3124 miles
4. No DCFC since purchased.
5. Build date April 2023

Long overdue.. Here is mine

1) deliver SoH- Unknown
2) Current SoH -88.65%
3) Current mileage - 25547
4) 17.83 KWh DC charging since purchased. Rest are L2.
5) Build date - Aug 2021, Delivered Dec 2021, MY 22 Taycan 4CT

I was hoping for my SoH to be around 90%. Should I be concerned with current SoH?

Almost certainly not i.e. I suspect if you went ahead with a 're-balancing' exercise as described here and elsewhere you'd more than likely recover 1+% to bring you back to ca 90%.

Yes in the Hot climate latitudes but of course we're lumping here - I could be a lot more rigorous about climate assignations by determining typical annualized climate variations by specific geography etc. but that would require me to get paid :)!! I'd expect S. Cal to have an overall far better climate than Houston in respect impact on Soh degradation.

One caution about re-balancing which includes a recharge to 100% - for cars included in the multiple recalls for potential battery short circuits, Porsche TSBs advise not charging those cars over 80%.

My turn to provide some numbers. I finally purchased a vLinker Dongle and the results are a very good surprise for me:
1) Unknown
2) 99.44%
3) 13940 km (8662 miles)
4) 311 kw of DC Charging
5) Built Oct 2022 (ST MY23) / Delivery December 2022
I am in Paris (Cool weather)

Some additional information:
- All my DC charging have been done with peaks at 264 kwh (did not limit it in the PCM)
- During weekdays, I charge with a profile at 40% or 50% since I only do small trips.
- On the week-ends I set a timer to 60% or 70% for Saturday and Sunday mornings
- When I have a long trip, I set a timer for the battery to be charged at 100% by the departure time, so it never stays a long time at 100%

=> this seems to lead to a good battery SoH overtime (I have been driving the car for 14 months now)
My numbers updated:
1/ Unknown
2/ 99.44% (did not change)
3/ 17000 km (10500 miles)
4/ 390 kw of DC charging

CarScanner is still showing me 99.441% for my SoH, which is strange as I would expect some kind of small degradation at least. Yes I am a freak keeping the SoC between 40% and 50% the majority of the time, I always try to limit the depth of discharge, I have cool weather, etc... But is it possible that there is an electronic problem with the module reporting the SoH?
I asked the dealer to tell me my SoH they informed me that it was 99% (their system doesn't display the decimals). So it is not my OBD or Car Scanner being the problem especially that I see other data being updated but it might a problem with the car not reporting the right data?

I had my high-voltage charger replaced last week, so decided to run another scan after getting the car back.

Current mileage: 2659 miles
Current SoH: 97.16%

No DCFC charging since the last report, so only 1 time total.

TBH this is really quite bizarre - you are def one of one, at least in the cars I've tracked to date but an absolutely great thing for you :)!

Almost every car basically comes from the factory with slightly less than 100% so the fact that after over 10K miles (more than on mine in 2 years embarrassingly!!) you are seeing essentially zero degradation is simply remarkable. My charging patterns currently similar to yours, slightly higher perhaps but I do have a serious lead foot :)!

Will add last two contributions shortly - thx.
