Best range estimate I got so far (100% above 500km / 311mi)

So today I charged to 100% before going on a road trip and it was surprising to see the estimated range at 519km (which translates to 323miles)
I usually see around 450-480km of range with mixed driving but mostly highway.

Average consumption: 17kw per 100km
Ambient temperature: 27 Celsius
Average speed: 70km/h
Estimated range: 519KM (323mi)

It’s worth noting that my Taycan has the battery performance plus, an option I find worth every penny (slight but noticeable performance boost compared to normal + at least 60km of additional range compared to the smaller battery).

What range are you guys getting from your Taycan?

I usually charge to 85% and get about 245 miles. Haven’t done the 100% charge yet. I’ll check it out on my next trip. Here in California I use the Macan for local and the Taycan for those over 30 miles or more. Saves a bunch gas-wise.

I’ve done almost 350 km and finished the trip with exactly 30% battery and 150km range left.

Not to rain on your parade, but I have seen a couple instances once AC charging has completed on my car, the console display you pictured shows 312 miles/502 km - considerably higher than normal. Next time I started the vehicle, the range shown on instrument display was back down to normal.

Edit: These instances occurred after AC charging the car to 100%'

My learning is that an unusually high range (310 miles/500 km) shown on the console display right after AC charging to 100% is not reliable.

What was your actual consumption for the journey as this is more relevant and accurate than the guessometer?

The consumption for the trip was 17kwh per 100km.
I’ve done a trip of ~350km without charging, and the battery was at 30% when I arrived and 150km of range left.
The battery temperature was normal as well, fluctuating between 29-34 degrees.

Usually the guessometer gives me an estimate of 450-480km but that was during summer when the AC was always On.

That might be true, but as I completed my road trip the numbers lined up pretty well with what the guessometer gave me in the first place.
Trip of almost 350km -> arrived with 30% and 150km range left.
Also the consumption was 17kwh per 100km during the trip.

Ambient temperature has a big impact on battery performance, also I think that CT is heavier and less aerodynamic.

We got a competition here haha.
Almost 540km, especially after doing more than 27000 km, is nice considering battery degradation (if that’s a thing or a big factor).

I’m very pleased by how much the Taycan delivers in terms of range. Also the accuracy of the guessometer is very good, always within +- 2%.

I’ve done a trip around Europe last June (4300km in total) and the range estimates are pessimistic and I always arrived with much better percentage than expected.

The highest I've seen on the guessometer was 294 in range mode with no AC haha. 335mi is just wild!

My lifetime average is 3.5m/kWh and right now I'm seeing around 260-270mi when at 100%. 21 4S PB+
