I had the dealer do the install on the clear markers. One question, on the upper trailing edge of each marker they stick out past the fender 1/8" to 3/16". I would have expected flush and have not been able to compare to original installed markers. What are other's experience?
Update: had the dealer take a re-look. They adjusted them and now nearly flush. Much improved.

I just did mine, super easy! It's literally one screw and I didn't need to mess with the spacers either. DOT sure has the supreme ability to make everything it touches f-ugly and now we have to spend the extra $150 to switch it back. Thanks, DOT.

Can anyone confirm these are the right part numbers? Looks like they have been updated:
1) OEM Porsche Part: 9J1-953-042-D
2) OEM Porsche Part: 9J1-953-041-D

to:

1) OEM Porsche Part: 9J1-953-042-F
2) OEM Porsche Part: 9J1-953-041-F

There is no image available so I have no idea if they are clear or not! Just says "turn signal repeater". And I can't order the original part number from my dealer.

Not sure where you are ordering these from but they are $115 at Suncoast right now and you select the toggle for the Sedan or Cross Turismo (triple checked with Charles at Suncoast that they have the correct part): same no. but -B for CT.

I prefer to buy them locally to save shipping and help my dealer, which is why I need the part number. Suncoast won't give out part numbers.

Do these still have an amber reflector? Anyone have a pic with light shining on them?

Both. EU spec do not have a reflector housing.

I've been trying to follow the instructions here, but the screws holding the side markers in are SUPER tightly screwed in on my car. It's to the point where I feel like i'm stripping the screw. I'm starting to wonder whether I'm looking at the wrong screw, but comparing the location with where it goes on the replacement part it seems right.

Did anybody else experience this?

I might have to take it to the dealer after all... did anybody have a dealer do it and could give me an indication of what I'm likely to expect in terms of duration and cost? Is this something they just fit into their schedule quickly?

I had the dealer install them on delivery. It was $125. At first they weren't very flush with the fender but asked them to re-adjust, which they did no problem. Looks good. Hard to say how long it took them.

To confirm, are you using the Torx wrench? And, are you using the correct size? To my memory, both bolts were T20.

T20. I was using it on a screwdriver style handle, making it hard to keep a straight angle. Will try a ratchet later today
