door handle sounds?

my Taycan is only 2 weeks old
left rear door handle is already make strange noise when handle pop out
sound like it need some lube

anyone have similar issue?

I had the same issue on my 2020 model.
Porsche lubricated it during a waranty service I had.

i wonder if i should try to lube it myself
my next warranty service won't happen in 6 to 8 months

I think problem is that you`ll need to lubricate from inside the door (taking the door cover off).
I didn`t want to it myself in the waranty period.

I would report this to your dealer as a defect and ask them. If they want you to lube it, ask them to do your dishes.

Same noise here, began after few days.

I can hear all my door handles when I’m reversing out of my driveway and they retract. It always sounds like I ran something over.

That turned out to be easy - pull the handle as much as you can and apply some lub (I used a stick for ear cleaning) right on the mount behind the screw (see the pic)

Best to use either silicon spray, or silicone grease. Both are safe on plastic and rubber. WD40 and other petroleum based lubricants do bad things to plastic and rubber over time. For the door handles, the spray is probably what you’re looking for.

Spraying there is not easy. Better to use a stick and just some of the lubricant to avoid having everything in this stuff
