Good share, thx - have done essentially all of this and some more - favoring the CETE suspension controller over hard links (pers. preference) BUT still waiting to receive the units due to supply chain issues which is a little bit frustrating. Quite an aggressive lowering for his car - I'll prob be max 1" or slightly less due primarily to horrendous side road conditions here in Houston.

My mod thread here:
https://www.taycanforum.com/forum/t...rismo-4s-from-order-to-delivery-to-mods.8208/

The section where he is cleaning the 'undercarriage' and suspension etc (I rarely have time to do) reminded me that when I had the rear bumper caps off that reveal the attachments for the bike carrier install on the CT (I was installing the painted side reflectors) I noticed that there was a small accumulation of gravel and a loose (factory?!) bolt sitting in my car in that area of the wheel well!!! Your post just reminded me to go recheck that area again and hoover out any more gravel :)!

Any more details about the loose bolt? I’ve got a rattle/clunk that is coming from under the trunk floor area that still needs to be tracked down and fixed. I’m suspecting something was not properly fastened and this might provide a hint.

More related to this thread, I’m considering purchasing sedan struts and shocks for my CT so that it can have appropriate travel when lowered to sedan specs.

Can't get back to it right now - believe it or not I actually ignored it when I first saw it meaning to follow up later as I was very focused on the reflector removal-install and at that time I had no rattling etc to indicate it was even there or that any factory item was loose if this had fallen off (hoping not the case!). I'll follow up today when I get a chance and post back.

Def interested to see what you come up with re total cost of that strut-suspension swap out.

Finally got to look back inside again and I suspect that what I thought might have been a loose bolt is actually not but some sort of pin and clip - apologies for confusions there. I can imagine over time that this area though could receive a lot of road debris that would surely become a noise factor if left in place.
