There may be two levels of concern because my letter did not mention charging away from buildings, just the future availability of monitoring software to check battery condition OTA.My 2021 4S was booked in for the ARB6 recall on Friday. Apparently to review the battery condition , and then again in 60 days.
It was cancelled on Christmas Eve by text saying it was to be done OTA.
I called the dealer and Porsche UK who both said that was correct. They couldn’t explain why the advice had changed.
The advice from both was to charge it away from buildings and only to 80% as recommended previously.
Not happy.
Maybe the mothership has changed its mind, or Porsche UK have decided they won’t pay. Who knows.
Anybody else had this happen?
My dealer subsequently did whatever checks were current during its first service and told me the monitoring software was expected to be available at the end of March but the checks they had done had been checked and approved by Porsche.
No advice not to charge over 80% either, though I only do so just before leaving on a long journey, my profile has been st at 80% since I set one anyway.
