Hello world,

As some of you might remember my car died at 700 miles and was bought back by Porsche.
Looking for a new car (again) and I'm trying to figure out if the issues with Taycan have been fixed.
I can't say based on the posts in this forum what is really going on. Any chance that '22 will be actually working?

Other than a few little nits, my 2021 CT4S has been flawless.

I have owned it now for 35 days and I already have 2500 miles on it in!

PCM is a buggy mess but the car is terrific.

1) and 2) seem to be fixed but the rattles keep on being mentioned by several forum members. Some have no rattling at all, some do. I sometimes have rattles myself... All in all, a very good car though, even my MY2020 one.

No, there is no chance that the 2022 will actually be working especially since the 10's of thousands of 20/21 are no longer working and are sitting in a big parking lot collecting dust while Porsche converts them to ICE vehicles.

You should either wait for the conversion to finish, or until the 2032s come out since some of them may eventually work.

Or buy a bicycle.

1, seems to be fixed
2, a work in process, updates are being applied, most seem to be fine a few people have had additional issues post update
3, all cars can rattle, while annoying as can be the rattles are usually easily silenced I wouldn't let that be a criteria for considering the car.

Do you have the Sirius greyed out problem or is it completely busted. Mine was greyed out but saw in this forum the "fix" of enabling it through a quick access button. Got my Sirius working that way. Sort of turned the trial back on again.

Greyed out and dealer can't figure it out. Attempted joke key fix multiple times - no dice.

Mine is now doing this daily. Really annoying. <> key workaround fixes every time, and shows a "welcome to your trial" message.

there is a workaround for this, most of the taycan techs know the fix. if your dealership is unaware of the fix try visiting another dealership

I've had my Taycan 4S for a month now and I've put 2500 miles on it and just completed my first road trip to LA and back which was a pleasure of the highest order. The car has been flawless and exceeds all my expectations. Most of my technical issues were due to me getting used to the quirks of the PCM and now even those issues seem trivial.

On a related note, today, a neighbor of mine and I went out to lunch and as I dropped him off, he asked if I could show the Taycan to his wife, I did and even let her take it for a spin. She kept saying, “I love this. It's so awesome!” She was so enthused that when we got back to her place she asked me to help her configure a Cross Turismo and much to my friend’s chagrin, she told him she wanted to order it. The moral of the story is that this car is infectiously great and now my neighbor is mad at me as his wife is going to hassle him incessantly until he orders her her Taycan.
