What dealer are you with (notice your profile is Southern UK). I'm struggling to get any concrete info from my dealer ref boats etc. I'm at Stage 5 on the app and he's been saying "hopefully arrive with us this week" for almost 3 weeks.

I've had £116k sat in a 0.75% account for a month where I can't get any more accurate info - could have locked away at 3% for a month! First world problem I know but this is a huge purchase. There was me thinking property purchases were hard work!

Ask for a screenshot of the order status, there is a wealth of information on it which in my case had little correlation with what the app said, for example build complete was 11 days before it went to stage 4

Mine was showing 6/14 too, but then yesterday showed it movin.

Could you share the meaning of moving, sooner or later. I am still showing 6/14 to depart Baltimore. Means little until it happens as they tend to bump dates last minute or past the actual date. My SA said they have no communication with anyone at the port so he said we can only wait.

I genuinely suspect it is just a placeholder (ofc wish I am wrong) since most of us get the 6/14 deliver date (myself included) regardless the region of the world.

West coast, east coast, the south, UK. All 6/14?

I wouldn't be surprised when 6/14 comes, it pushes to 6/28 or any random date toward the end of June. It's been doing that to me the past two months. My previous deliver date was the end of May ( the 28th)

Just heard from my SA that my CT is still sitting in Halifax. It is coming up on a month since it arrived. No info shared re: why beyond it is a "quality action" or when it is expected to leave.

Exact same situation. According to TYD it's scheduled to depart Halifax on 6/15 but I'm not super confident in that estimate. We may both very well be looking at a July delivery.

Out of curiosity, who is your dealer? Mine is PCNT.

My TYD says that it will be leaving Halifax on 6/13 but, like you, I'm not confident in that estimate. It is also showing an arrival date at the dealership 6/19 - 7/12, which does make me feel like it may very well be a July delivery.

My dealer is PC Oakville.

Although TYD hasn't updated for me just yet, the Glovis Superior made it to Benicia last night, having missed its scheduled arrival on June 9th (which was after the predicted June 4th arrival). It spent several days anchored off of San Francisco for some unknown reason, probably missed its original arrival window.

With luck, cars might be at dealerships (Porsche Marin, for me) later next week. But, I'll believe it when I see it, at this point.

Mayfair... went with them on the basis that they are a part of Porsche GB as opposed to a franchised dealdership and get better allocations. I think they likely work less hard because their treasured location means they canget away with that. My sales agent is a very decent guy, but comms are infrequent. The My Porsche platform just doesnt seem to provide anything like a reliable indicator of what actual progress is occuring.

My role is in engagement and client service within multinational, corprate financial services. If i kept clients in the dark to this degree I'd quickly be out of a job. This is a huge purchase for me (and, like you I've got funds waiting in a liquid account earning half of chuff-all...) and Porsche just don't feel particularly keen to tie you in..

In a modern world where brands spend so much time and energy on actually building their brands, gaining customer confidence and trust, trading through cycles etc etc, it feels a little dissonant

Anyway, rant over, it is a proper first world problem and I probably need to get over myself...!!

You put my experience, both with this car and my corporate world, into words perfectly. You'd think with the amount of money you're spending on this hunk of metal, you'd get a bit more. Right?? Like I dont need you to blow me but at least give me a straight answer. I have six figures in liquid accounts tied up in this bloody 'future purchase' and there are a lot of opportunities for that cash right now. Last month I cashed out a bunch of stuff expecting to have the car by now. anyways i know its a stupid problem to have .. i know how this sounds.... Can you all please play the world's smaller violin for the plight of the poor guy trying to buy a too-fancy car? no one knows my pain ....

I am 100% in the same situation. I cashed out assets 2 months ago expecting delivery in April. 60% of my portfolio was in NVidia. So you can only imagine how upset I am right now. I lost out on at least $40k in profits cashing out for this stupid car I still don't have

My wife is being surprisingly cool about it and not giving me a hard time for the dumb financial moves I've made lately because of this car.
