Regardless of whether they do actually enable this on existing Taycans, I'm so excited that we finally updated our archaic laws to allow for this tech. It's crazy how many people in the US don't even realize that not only does this exist, but that it's been working for years (maybe even decades) in Europe.

WOW! USA government agency moving so much faster than Porsche!!! :surprised:They were able to approve this in a much shorter time (couple of months since the budget for this was approved) than it took for Porsche to even allocate me an allocation/production slot (8 months waiting and still no sign of an allocation).

On the bright side, I can hopefully look forward to not having to hack my matrix lights, which is nice, though at the pace Porsche is going my fist Taycan may be an autonomous flying car, so perhaps matrix headlights won't matter so much. :CWL:
