Hello
Buying a used Taycan in few days and decision is between two cars, with same specs:
- late 2021 with 30k km
- volcano grey color
- Porsche Electric Sport Sound
- Sport Chrono package
- 20” turbo aero wheels
- smooth leather interior
- adaptive sport seats with memory
- heated seats
- ambient lighting
- fixed panoramic roof
- power steering plus
- lane change assistant
- park assistant with surround view
- adaptive cruise control
- heat pump
- passenger display
- performance battery plus
- intelligent range manager

Differences:

- one is Taycan RWD and has Bose sound
- other is Cross Turismo 4 with adaptive air suspension and is 10% cheaper

My driving will be city mostly, single or two people. Only once a month with kids and up to 150km, few times a year up to 500km. We have rain and snow for a few weeks a year. Cross Turismo seems a better deal, I just prefer rhe sedan look.

What do you think?

I would go for the CT. The 2 cm ground clearance is welcome on bad roads. I visited Croatia this summer. You have really good roads but also quit bad ones with high bumps. The CT 4 has a bit more power and has the bigger battery standard the RWD doesn’t. I have a CT 4 so I am biased. Just make sure the RWD has the bigger battery if you go for that one because it is not standard. The 150 kw DC charger is standard on the CT in Belgium. Don’t know if it is on the RWD.
The 20 inch wheels on the CT are different and look better.

In my opinion, snow + precious cargo (kids) = 4WD every time.

I’ll go against the grain, and remind you not to let other people spend your money.

If there’s even a question between a wagon and a sedan, that says you don’t need the utility - so you may end up looking longingly after sedans. I’d say to make a list of reasons why you are considering a Taycan in the first place, and distill it to the non-negotiables. (And be honest with yourself; for instance, if it’s looks then you better like the wagon from every angle.)

On the other side, this is not an irreversible decision either, especially if you don’t intend to keep the car for an extended period of time.

Just noticed the Croatia link
Dobar Dan.

I also prefer the saloon look.
Timeless classic Porsche shape.
I have one, It is the 4 door 911 we always wanted.
The Panamera went close but ended up looking like a fat bar of soap with an ugly bum.
While not as good looking as the Saloon the Turismo Brothers are unquestionably the best looking estates/wagons on the planet.
From the front you can’t tell. Even on the configurator.
Much more sensible choice for a host of reasons and will be worth much more in the future.

CT. Love the extra room. Also, less CTs on the road and more distinctive.

Thank you all. You’ve convinced me into buying the CT. However, the price was a bit too good to be true. It turned out there were hidden issues, so I bought the RWD instead. Yes, the CT would be a better deal, but problematic. No regrets, as this made the choice easy.

Hello
Buying a used Taycan in few days and decision is between two cars, with same specs:
- late 2021 with 30k km
- volcano grey color
- Porsche Electric Sport Sound
- Sport Chrono package
- 20” turbo aero wheels
- smooth leather interior
- adaptive sport seats with memory
- heated seats
- ambient lighting
- fixed panoramic roof
- power steering plus
- lane change assistant
- park assistant with surround view
- adaptive cruise control
- heat pump
- passenger display
- performance battery plus
- intelligent range manager

Differences:

- one is Taycan RWD and has Bose sound
- other is Cross Turismo 4 with adaptive air suspension and is 10% cheaper

My driving will be city mostly, single or two people. Only once a month with kids and up to 150km, few times a year up to 500km. We have rain and snow for a few weeks a year. Cross Turismo seems a better deal, I just prefer rhe sedan look.

What do you think?
It's personal preference but the Saloon (coupe) shape looks so much nicer.
Standard sound system is perfectly adequate - I savour the driving experience without music!
Air suspension is a big plus.
Depends on your driving re RWD/4WD - if you have snow, then 4WD no contest,

Cross turismo all day long much more practical and has additional features.
