Passenger Display functionality with ANA6 PCM update

Has the passenger display benefited from additional functionality with the ANA6 update?

Particularly, any chance ANA6 now enables the Passenger display to display Apple CarPlay/Android Auto independent of the other main display?

Nope - still can't have the CarPlay tiles nor maps on the passenger screen - you can of course display PCM nav on Pass Screen and Apple Maps on main or show music controls for CarPlay on Passenger screen but cannot scroll though playlists - clearly still optimized for main screen alone.

Well what I think is new (or was there all along and did not realize it) is that instead of Taycan just being displayed there when the passenger seat is empty, you can get song titles. So just the song title and a hint of the album cover art. I thought that was better than just Taycan.

Apple CarPlay is currently not built to be on two independent screens. iOS cannot show two different apps at the same time and allow parallel interactions.

It is not Porsche refusing to do some coding!

Apple's stated position is for CarPlay to now focus on the (mostly non-interactive) screens behind the steering wheel – so its very unlikely in the medium term that the Taycan Passenger Screen will get CarPlay. And if it was to happen – it would probably mean that CarPlay could be on either screen but not both.

@KensingtonPark you go into the menu as follows:
Displays ==> Passenger monitor ==> Display in rest (sleep?) mode ==> Media (instead of vehicle name as the other option)
Sorry translating from German so might not have the right words in the English menu.
