Love this idea. If the bars produced by @bsclywilly were used in conjunction with a horizontal support with a standard receiver, I'd be way in!Here's some inspiration for you. If tube bending and welding was in my wheelhouse, I might have gone this route. I even contacted M7 to see if they were interested in making one for the Taycan, got no response.

same! Would be so good to be able to use my normal Thule for carrying bikes.Love this idea. If the bars produced by @bsclywilly were used in conjunction with a horizontal support with a standard receiver, I'd be way in!
Would like to see your hitch mount and installation if you have any pics.I installed a regular detachable European tow hook on my Taycan sedan. (one that can only carry bikes, not tow trailers).
Very handy with the super light Thule Xpress 970 bike carrier.
It is installed in 5 seconds and weighs only 4.6 kg.
The bike carrier is grey. The tow bar is black.Would like to see your hitch mount and installation if you have any pics.
This is what I want for my CT4S!The bike carrier is grey. The tow bar is black.
The tow bar is detachable. It is connected at the bottom. So you can not see it if it is detached. Inside it is connected to the big alu bumper bar.
It is legal and safe because the tow bar can not be used for towing. So legally it is not a tow bar. It is 'a bike carrier hook'. It is made by the dutch company Brink for an ID3.
It is a bit of work and you need to cut a small hole in the pastic bumper at the bottom, but it is a very handy solution.
