Saw this one in my local town many years ago. I thought it was great, but that probably says more about my sense of humour than anything else.

I saw this one in London on May 17, 2023. Perhaps they are a member of this Forum?

Imho the best for Taycan UK format is TA17CAN but long gone
I’m in the club who likes a plate referencing the make or model of the car, but it does mean finding a new one every time…
But since your FD plate Frank matches my profession, I’ll look out for it when it goes on sale… but would probably have to take a mortgage to get it 😅

I'm not sure if it is cheesy or not, but it brings a smile to my face and those I pass on the road. ZIPDUDA

A local proctologist once had the following Virginia vanity plate on his chocolate brown 911: A55MAN.

I would not have understood his intent if he had not explained it to me . . . So not sure this was a “win.”

I nearly bought TA73CAN, but dont like the thought of any possible association with the name Tate, and I much prefer to be slight less noticeable (current car is debadged sleeper RS6), so I will just accept whatever my GTS ST gets allocated (due first week September - hopefully!).

I like clever vanity plates that make you think, like the frustrated Chicago baseball fan whose vanity plate was Y CUBS Y. And like many on these boards, I can do without the cringey plates.

I saw a photo of a plate on a Jeep the other day that read
FJBIN24. And it was a California plate!

My engineering career helped make my Taycan a reality, so I chose to honor it on my vanity plate. Helps when I visit high schools and talk to students in the science and math clubs about engineering careers.

Ordered my GTS ST Jan 2022 and looked at AA22GTS for it. I'm in Norwich so all local cars start with A and my name is Aaron so a cool 22 plate I thought and clean AF. War etc. delayed things so I only received the car Thursday last. Decided that I didn't want the 23 equivalent so just kept my E5 JNO for my little ladies, Esmé and Juno...
I do think a tidy plate sets the car off FWIW

I find number plates with a person’s name hilarious. Reminds me of a child writing their name on stuff.

I would personally just let that one expire and forget about it.

That being said I do like private plates for aesthetic reasons. Something a bit shorter than standard and with symmetrical letters can make the plate much less of an eyesore than the standard ones, without spending much at all. E.G. AI OMA looks much nicer and cleaner on the car than say SN23 KGH
