Really nice.

I would recommend adding these with this config, all relatively inexpensive:
Side Window Trims in Black (high-gloss) (£245.00)
Door Sill Guards brushed Aluminium in Black (£0.00)
Storage package (£ 168.00) - gives you somewhere to put your phone under the climate control panel.

Surround View and the non-Innodrive cruise control are probably a good idea but quite £.
Sports sound and Ambient lighting both seem ridiculous but are awesome in person.
agree on window trims. Alu black door sills don’t seem to get mentioned much but to me look way better in pics and free!

Storage pack though? Is putting your phone there worth £168?

Well it is up to you, but there are multiple threads on here with people saying they regret not getting it.

£168 is of course ridiculous for what you get, and it should be included as standard, but this is a Porsche options list and a drop in the ocean compared to the overall cost.

I go through a similar process with every Porsche I buy.

1. Test Drive
2. Not that impressed
3. Look at how silly some of the options cost
4. Compare how much those options cost on a much cheaper car
5. Realize the Porsche is going to cost as much as a house
6. Convince self not to buy Porsche
7. Keep thinking about Porsche
8. Convince self to buy cheaper, faster car
9. Keep thinking about Porsche
10. Convince self to test drive Porsche one more time
11. Convince wife that this is the Porsche i've always wanted
12. Make several promises about this is the last one, I will make it up to her, etc
13. Buy Porsche
14. Smile

There obviously is also a honeymoon phase with a Porsche, just like any new car. But they keep me smiling more than any other brand (and taking my money).
Hahaha, this is great. Honestly this should be listed somewhere as the official process for Porsche ownership. I went through this same exact process when making the decision about pulling the trigger on a Taycan STEP FOR STEP. Almost up to step 14, just waiting on delivery...

Well, as a first time Porsche person, I started at step 11, except I had to convince myself (that didn't take long). My wife already knew that getting a porsche was a bucket list thing, so no convincing needed there.

Still looks great!

Unfortunately you can only attach the roof rack if you get the glass roof.

Just in case you haven't seen it in person be sure to check out pictures of Dolomite Silver (like below), it is quite different from how it looks in the configurator.
Thanks, I missed that. SeaSucker it is then. I must only use it once a year.

The colour is the biggest decision, I like Silver, Gentian Blue and Carmine Red :movember:

Silver you can never go wrong, Gentian Blue looks incredibly classy and it's a real head turner, Carmine Red is a whole other beast. My wife's Macan is Carmine red and it always gets looks, and with a car like the Taycan, it's just spectacular. The only question is whether or not you're comfortable with having a color that "flashy". For reference, I have a few pics of a Gentian Blue Taycan I test drove at a dealership near the area, and my wife's Macan...

I am totally split between them all. I have Silver and Blue but never Red - Oh no, I am starting to think red

Since you would likely be getting a MY2021 at this point, have you considered any of the new colours? Not to complicate your decision, but the metallic cherry is quite nice.
