You can switch on the passenger display when you're alone in the car (doesn't work on every market though).
-select roundel in lower middle display
-deselect checkbox in pop-up menu in middle screen.
-put in gear (checkbox is now grayed out).
If it doesn't work the first time:
-put in park again.
-select checkbox.
-put in gear.
-put in park.
-deselect checkbox
-put in gear.
Deselect roundel to close the pop-up menu.

Good luck! :)

I actually take my key out of my pocket when I wash my car for exactly that reason :) Was too annoying to deal with the frunk popping open all the time.
A few seconds press the buttons open and close at the same time, the key light comes on. The key is deactivated until you press any button again.

Found this out without sifting through the manual or good to know app but instead of pressing down on the lower screen, you can just slide your fingers to adjust things like temp, fan speed and volume. One finger up and down on the HVAC controls and two fingers on the lower trackpad for volume. I also tried swiping left or right but didn't seem to do anything.

Also if you hold down the regen button on the steering wheel it turns on the auto regen option.

Actually, speaking of regen, I noticed that most of the time the first 5 or so minutes of my drive the car solely uses the physical brakes. Does regen need to warm up a bit before it activates?

I bet it's to take off any rust or water that may have accumulated.

Regen doesn't do much when battery is >90%

Locking door with Comfort Access:
If you lock the car on the door handle: pressing it firmly works better than just sliding.

it depends on your SOC when departing, if it is very high there cannot be any regen because there is no place any kw derived from using regen to go

While gently washing my 4S this week, I was wiping near the front nose of the car with a soft cloth, on the top of the bumper area near the Porsche logo. *POP!* The front trunk opened! No fob, no menus. I was happily surprised about that unknown feature (to me).
The only time I’ve managed this was when washing the car though. I have tried it a couple of times since and not managed to make it open. (I also take the keys out of my pocket when washing now to avoid unexpected opening).
