Which exterior colour did you choose?

while i was expecting mamba green (and gentian and chalk), volcano grey surprised me.

Dark metalic grey is a very, very popular choice in general here in the UK, my current car is this colour and I preferred it to the options when I bought it. I didn't like any of the other standard colours Audi offered on the E-Tron GT when I looked at that, but Porsche had a much wider choice of colour and I wanted to go back to something not monochrome.
I do think Volcano looks very nice though.

I've seen volcano in the store (with biege leather), but I prefer bright colours.
I also think that in bright colours, lines of the car looks better as well.
And, as I wrote before, Taycan looks great in any colour, so it's just the question of personal preferences.

Why would you not want to drive a car in the color you consider most beautiful? Is it resale value that you're worried about?

He is from Belgium. Belgians want everything to be as ugly and boring as the sky: grey (Most of the time the sky is grey in belgium) Probably a cultural thing: most people don't want to stand out. Better to hide in the crowd. (Maybe that is why we have these insane high taxes ?)

I live in Belgium too. I have a mamba green Taycan. I see other Taycan's on a daily basis (it is very popular due to lower taxes on EV's) but I never saw another green one.

I like it. I did not need to include fancy expensive options to have a unique car, Just choosing something that is not grey or black.

(I am just joking. The taycan is also nice in grey.)

So far Volcano commonest with Mamba and Gentian next.

Volcano I would have expected but based on the used car photos for sale would have assumed other monochrome choices would have been next, and when I added all the black, white grey (except volcano) together it came to 22.9%.

I'm pleased that Gentian is so popular- it was my "safer" alternative, but I've never seen it on a Taycan...maybe due to a significant proportion of our pollsters still not having taken delivery. I assume that's why I've yet to see a Mamba either. (Or maybe people have bottled out after polling, having had seeds of doubt sown by the self-appointed style police )

EDIT- just 4 hours later I've spotted my first Gentian in the wild- from a distance on an overcast day it looked blackish- then dark purple as I got closer until I saw it side-on in its full majesty. So maybe they are all out there but I've just not been close enough.
