Spot on! You'll love it. For daily drive, you can do without the chrono, if budget is tight!
Thanks...

Due to the recent reduction in the cost of the performance battery plus I was able to squeeze in the full performance package which costs less than the individual sum of the options options here in North America.

I thought I'd post my latest configuration which has changed significantly from my first stab at it a few days ago.

The biggest change is that after reading reviews and opinions from as many online sources as I could find, and after realizing that I was pushing the envelope on pricing I've decided to go with a 4S instead of a Turbo. The bottom line is that I'm able to spec a 4S that mostly matches a Turbo's equipment level while adding some things like PCCB's that my Turbo spec didn't have for $20K less. Yeah, I'm sacrificing a bit of straight line acceleration but in real world driving I don't think that will be much of an issue.

Anyway, here's my build. I'm visiting the dealer this Friday for a test drive and likely order placement so any feedback before then will be welcome. A couple of items that aren't listed, but that I'm probably going to add, are Lane Change Assist and Porsche crests in the front headrests.

If you don’t really expect a fifth person, the Ski package gives you the 40/20/40 for half the price and no extra seatbelt or headrest.
Is this true? Does anyone have this? I attempted to exhaustively research this topic before settling on the 4+1 seating to get the ski hatch. Maybe @LukeManning can shine some light on if it's changed?

My car is a MY 2021 4S.

You seem to be way over 4S specing. In the US, for lease purposes, a 4S should have a limit of approximately $138,000 and no higher as the dealer/manufacturer gives you no credit for anything added on to this price so those of use that use that number spec it below or right at that number unless you can get a discount to bring it near that number. Not sure what your pricing is as it looks to be in British Pounds but converted for us in the US based on your code. @ranger22 is correct, you are way over for a 4S, you should give up some options or go to a Turbo if you can get a build slot unless you like to on the short end at resale. I don't buy based on resale but you should be reasonable.

Options here are not reflected in Residual values so better off with higher spec and no options

My only suggestion, for that price, I would want the rear to say Taycan Turbo S and I would just get ACC as you can add the Innodrive as a FOD to test it out and if you don't like it, you can just turn it off. I hear most aren't liking how it is slowing down the drive and since you can get it as an add on later, I would wait. Just my two cents or do you say quid?

If I had known they were doing subscription based options I would have dropped it from the original spec, unfortunately too late now ? would have been good to save a few quid ?

You need to ask your Sales Ambassador if they have the final lock in place as you don't actually lock until the car goes V250. Do you know if the car is in status V250? If you don't, I would call the dealer and ask. Just a US bloke trying to save you some british cents.

The build date was 01/29, but will double check in case that moved. ?

This is correct. If you option the Ski Bag option you will get the 40/20/40 folding rear seats that you would otherwise get by optioning the 2+1 rear seat option.
