Yeah, my home charging is 7kW anyway, but I guess it will now be 9.6kw instead of 11kw on the rare occasions I use 3-phase AC charging. I was thinking about reports I’d seen of other issues where this update had been suspected as the cause. Not that Taycan owners are paranoid about such things

Check how your charge percentage compares to miles available. I’m getting less now. But with warmer weather I’m getting more… great timing for not being able to tell.

Well @Leccy61, your AC charging now is at 9kW max, that is all there is to notice after WSS4. Then, there is WST2 that says takes 10 min to install.

My post and photos were just about WSS4, had OTA for WST2 around 3 months ago.

All slow and no advantages
My percentage charge vs range now sux too. I’m going to take the car in. There’s no way I’ve lost almost 50 kms of range and I’m getting no warning

My range has actually increased since the update from 215 to 240+.

Got the invoice from Porsche for the plug & charge session on Tesla after the update.

My 2022 keeps failing to perform online update WST2 (HV battery control unit). Anyone experienced this?

I charge the car to 60%+, drive it so small battery charges, update shows up on the SW update screen, I lock the car, but when i come back I get the online update failed message. This whole update showed up after I did my 4 year service and dealer completed a ton of recalls. (Not sure why did not do this while the car was in the shop.)

Are you saying you have a successful Plug & Charge at a Tesla Supercharger? This must be the first, as I am not aware of anyone being able to do it, without using Tesla App and tapping on the charger ID to initiate the session.

You may not be starting it correctly. As you see the update available, you need to stop the car, Park, and Ignition Off, then as you see the Goodbye message, below, there will be option to initiate update, hit that, and it will start saying it will take so many minutes. Open the door, PCM goes dark, that's ok, lock the car and do not disturb by having your key far away. I do these when I go shopping so the key is far away and not disturbing the process.

Unfortunately my car doesn’t have the upleveling charging feature so I was “slow” charging under 100kW lol

Thanks. That is really what I did the first time and it failed. Now it no longer asks me about the update when I turn off the car but when I come back in the morning i get the "update failed" message.
