When I first got my car in Feb 22 my range would show 420km at 100% charge. I am now showing 360km on a full charge and it remains to be true. I live in a colder climate but the car is stored in heated garages most of each day. I charge my car from 10-20% to a full 100% each time. I am now doing this more often because of the decreased range. Anyone else see this happening? Am I doing something wrong? I do not drive my car hard. Mainly in normal mode with regeneration on all the time. Thanks.

I have no evidence to support my opinion but it appears that porsche has nerfed the range.

Cold weather means the heater runs quite a bit. And batteries have less energy in the cold. I think we will all have to wait until summer to find out…

Duly noted. It has been interesting but I am really feeling the decreased range. Charging every 4-5 days. Before it was 7-8. Looking forward to summer!

Your range is similar to mine. Whenever charging to 100% ahead of longer trips, I also get roughly 360 km during the colder season and summertime about 420 km. Sad to say, haven't noticed any improved range since the update. To save the battery, preferably you should set a standard charging to 85% instead of charging too 100% and plug it in everyday. BTW, I live in southern 0art of Sweden and driving a ST 4S with 20" wheels.

As said above, to help preserve the battery it would be better to charge more often and only to 85%.

Here are my typical (RWD PB+) start of day displays for Jan and July.
It's about 20% difference due to outdoor temperature from winter to summer. My driving habits are constant.

I also don't think it matters where you park the car (heated garage). I think it works the range out from when you are driving.....so the car knows if its winter or summer.
I may be wrong about this - just my assumption.

I can confirm, range dropped after update. Exactly to 360 km. Before I have 400 km.

What efficiency are you getting? The mi/kWh is more useful to use than fully charged guess-o-meter range

Also, to echo others: I’d not charge to 100% unless you absolutely need to

I get 20 miles less in each scenario.

I used to see 203 this time of year @ 85% prior to uPdate.

Consumption remains the same (3.3 miles / kWh)and so generally ignore the estimate after a charge.

My view is that this is another software anomaly plaguing all cars which had the uPdate.

I just charged to 90% and the reported range is 167 miles

We have already discussed this issue several times.
My findings (after uPdate):
- guessometer dropped from 420km down to 360-370km
- during my first winter (2021/22) i haven’t noticed any degradation at all
- after uPdate (mid August 2022), range dropped immediately…and it’s still around 370km
- but real consumption is still close to,400km… and overall consumption 19 kwh/100km (after 26k km).

i think that battery SoH went down somewhere to 90% during forst year, and uPdate recognize and take into account that more precisely (or at least different than before).
On the other hand, i’m expecting better guessometer results when spring comes, with outside temperatures over 20 degrees C.

I have a 21 4s and the same happened to me after the last software update (that was supposed to increase range). I lost a good 50km. Maybe the battery got a better range during cold temperatures? but losing range nonetheless is very frustrating.

Wow that’s pretty low. I charged mine to 94% yesterday and it shows 230 miles. I dive quite aggressively, and at least 85 (82 on gps). Outside temp is around 60 degrees. Consumption was horrible at 2.6 mi/kWh on a 30 miles trip yesterday due to the temp I’m sure
