Apple Car Play - Battery Info Not Available

For the last few weeks when I use Car Play for navigation, I get at an error message that indicates that Car Play does not have my SoC data so the projected SoC at my destination is no longer correct. Are others seeing this message and is there a way to address it via settings?

There is no integration like this with CarPlay. Check how you have your phone and app configured but there is no charging integration with Taycan at this time.

I’m also getting this multiple times during a navigated journey. Battery level connection is lost and regained, lost and regained. Not sure if this is the car or the phone yet.

I got this too. I unpaired the phone, and re-paired it. Then, use the My Porsche App, navigate to your car, select Vehicle Details. In the window select Functions, and then select My Porsche in Apple Car Play. I think you can reestablish your Car Play connection, and the mileage will again sync. Since I did this, it seems to be stable. I believe you should also have autoupdates turned on.

While the PCM doesn’t update outside of a shop visit, you do need to be careful to have the latest version of iOS on your iPhone. Whether that’s an auto update or whether you just are proactive about doing those updates is up to you.

The process @CAGCTG describes above, has worked for me several times.

However, let me add that if I’m on a long trip and I stop the car and get out to eat, charge, use the bathroom, or just walk around, after a certain amount of time when I get going again, CarPlay tells me that it is not synced to the correct battery SOC. I usually just wait it out and it re-syncs to the correct battery SOC after about five minutes.

I always had this on 2 cars since this feature launched, i'm pretty convinced it's an Apple issue that never got working correctly
