Twice this week I received an "Unable to reach the set target charge" message from the Connect app about 90 minutes before the end of the preferred charging window. In both cases the car was successfully charged to the target rate of 85%. My profile specifies a minimum rate of 25% and a preferred charge window of 8:15pm to 6:30am. The lowest SoC I had this week was 46% so there was plenty of time to reach the target charge in the specified 10-hour window with a 40 Amp circuit for the L2 charger.
Normally I do not select the Precool/Heat option when charging. However on Wednesday I selected it to see what the impact would be on battery temperature at departure time. When I plugged in the cable on Wednesday evening, the battery temp was 60F. In the morning with Precool/Heat checked on, the battery temp was 69F and the SoC was 88% even though the target charge was set to 85%. I was surprised that the target rate was overshot.
