Timeline for me in Northern California, delivery at PEC LA:

Ordered and allocated 4SCT during week of launch, with “late August” delivery

Build lock 7/5

Production started yesterday 7/26

Delivery scheduled for 10/29 (after several delays, early sept, then ~9/29, then 10/22, now 10/29.

Just finished production more than a month early today after 4 days in production, on its way to port Emden now. Delivery 9/24.

Ordered a 2022 turbo s ct on 7/20/21 and initially production start was 9/10 with dealer delivery 11/19. Now it is production start 10/22 with delivery on 12/31/21. I’m sure there will be more changes.. Ha

Ordered a CT 4 in June with lock around June 25. Original delivery date of Sept 10, then moved to Sept 17, now Oct 15.

American market seems to have a lot more build slots than UK? Currently quoting around 8 months it seems here

Ordered 10th March, build mid July (should be finished by now) delivery expected mid Sept, would have been earlier but due to factory shutdown it is delayed.
To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if this date falls back.
I may ask if I can collect from the factory, might be quicker??

Just heard back from my SA, my car is delayed because of the chips shortage, TYD shows 10/22 (it was 9/3)

Believe it is ca. first 3 weeks of August - search forum as I think (again!) it might reopen ca. Aug 23.

Per TYD, my 2021 4S CT is scheduled to begin production on 8/27 - if that helps to confirm close dates...

My build supposedly starts on Sept 17th so will be curious indeed to see if yours starts on time - my guess based on current news reports is that we are all going to be delayed by a minimum of a coupe of weeks - and if the specific supply chain for Taycan really squeezes it might be quite a bit longer than that - staying positive for now !

My TYD still is holding at an 8/27 production start. That being 22 days away - and probably one of the last 2021 cars to be produced - I have confidence that the date will hold. But I've been wrong many times about many things!

Ah so yours will still be a 2021 build - mine is a 2022 - perhaps more likely they'll have stocked for '21's re critical parts and the '22's may be more impacted if short - but entirely speculation on my part!

Mine was supposed to arrive july 23rd then postponed to 1st week of august … and now mid september (order early match)… that’s another 6 weeks delay… strange they tell you that the week of delivery

4S CT. U.K. original build completion was 21/6. Then pushed back to 28/7. Now still in build but delayed by parts and will be early September at the earliest. I have heard that parts for active suspension are delayed. Also heard that these delays may get worse. Sold my year old 4s last month. If delayed further than September I may consider going back to an available 4S if no CT’s are here by then.
