Where do people get the 'dates' they're quoting. Sure my dealer gave me some rough dates but he has been very good (and I will say: honest), at making sure I know that they're not firm and very likely STC. Mine is now in 'Phase 3 - scheduled for production', but MyPorsche site/app doesn't give me dates of future stages. Is this something I can get access to or are people going on what the dealer told them?

It might have been 20th May...hard to be sure as the My Porsche tracking only activated after the event (and I've just checked it...it hasn't yet updated to show it's arrived, maybe that doesn't happen until the dealer has finished prepping it).
Hopefully though, yours is currently in transit in the UK...I guess internal transport times are another variable.

Had my dealer email today too. Factory have released my build slot apparently. Looking at final quarter.

Another email today from Porsche Cars GB thanking me for my order....well I did order (or so I thought) back in November....

Anyway its now showing at Phase 1 in My Porsche. So I exist! ?

If you email the dealer they will be able to send you a screenshot like the below with planned, expected and actual dates for each stage so you can get a better idea of how it is actually progressing

Thanks. I've done just that this morning ? they told me the dates verbally but I didn't note them down, unusually for me.

I think that depends on who you're speaking to at the dealer.

I've seen some salesmen who don't get access to that information (according to them at least)

I’ve just heard from dealer (via lease co) that my build slot is confirmed as September with delivery October - so thats only a 6 month delay as was due to be built in March. I was on the verge of giving up and starting again but quite excited again now!

I had the same email yesterday despite having ordered in Dec, I thought it was nothing and dropped the OPC sales guy an email and he responding back today to confirm that I had been allocated a build yesterday that would have triggered that email.

I have a build date in Sept now and delivery expected in Oct , although missing the summer as it was originally expected in June, but happy with it hoppefully be landing this year!

I got the dreaded email from my lease company today. Ordered in July 21, after all the delays I was hopeful of an August 21 delivery. Now got a Feb 23 date. Not sure what I want to do.

Wow that’s really bad. I’m wondering if that’s because they’re giving worst case dates, or because your dealer’s 2022 build slots have all been allocated and earliest possibility is now Q1 ‘23…

Depends on your current car situation (e.g. current lease ending) but if you can afford to wait it’s “only” 8 months away… given how long you’ve already been waiting would be sad to bin it. Which one is it?

I'd be interested to know what leasing company you are dealing with also.
Its in line with what i am being told to be honest. Initially 8 months, then 10 months, 12 months and now likely to be 18 months.
