I'd be interested to know what leasing company you are dealing with also.
Its in line with what i am being told to be honest. Initially 8 months, then 10 months, 12 months and now likely to be 18 months.

I got the dreaded email from my lease company today. Ordered in July 21, after all the delays I was hopeful of an August 21 delivery. Now got a Feb 23 date. Not sure what I want to do.
Wow sorry to hear that mate. I thought mine was bad. I ordered mine end of May 21 through my company lease scheme via ALD Autolease. Delay after delay I've got an alleged firm date confirmed by Porsche Nottingham now of 22/07/22. ALD were crap at comms, it only got better when Porsche Nottingham actually in touch in March this year. Is it the lease company telling you the date or Porsche themselves?

It might have been 20th May...hard to be sure as the My Porsche tracking only activated after the event (and I've just checked it...it hasn't yet updated to show it's arrived, maybe that doesn't happen until the dealer has finished prepping it).
Hopefully though, yours is currently in transit in the UK...I guess internal transport times are another variable.
So… still waiting. The list of excuses as to why it hasn’t left Sheerness lengthens. As of this morning, they say that the reason it didn’t make Tuesdays transport (8 cars arrived at the dealer) is that Porsche vehicle planning had an IT outage and didn’t know which vehicles to put on the transporter first. 6 friggin weeks since it left production… 2 weeks sat in Sheerness… it’s only 680 miles from the factory to the showroom… I’ve done more miles running and cycling in those 6 weeks. Anyone who thinks getting through production is the end of it needs to rethink. Porsche logistics is third world… and that’s being disingenuous to developing countries. Next delivery to Bournemouth is tomorrow. I’m thinking of running a book if anyone fancies a dabble. German efficiency my arse !!

Thanks. It’s the lease company that is providing the date.

My lease company are pretty crap with comms. It didn't get accurate until I got in contact with the dealership. Maybe ask who the dealer is and contact them.

Leaseplan are dreadful. They don’t respond to emails, calls. The amount of mistakes and excuses is embarrassing. I’d have walked away months ago if I had another option.

Unfortunately I think that's a common trait with outsourced lease companies. My last 2 companies outsourced solutions have been pretty shite.

Some of the buzz has come back into my purchase. Had a call earlier from my OPC to let me know I have a build allocation for November with delivery in December. If it doesn’t change, that’ll be 12 months from ordering which, compared to others and given what has been/is going on, isn’t too bad.

Now I have to start thinking about finalising my build……….?

My advice would be to get that into your dealer ASAP as in my case due to bad communication on their side my build locked on the initial speculation spec I had given them...luckily I managed to get them to change a couple of things but as you can imagine I was not delighted to be told it was locked without being asked to submit my final spec! The only positive was that it locked on a MY22 build so managed to avoid the price increase to MY23

Sound advice and I am calling in on Friday to go through my final spec. 48 hours should be enough time to see me step away happy from the configurator……………hopefully lol.;)

My March lock date was brought forwards 3 week...luckily I'd arranged to finalise my spec with what we thought was plenty of time in hand. In the spec meeting my SA pulled up the production schedule and was as surprised as I was to see that it was now only 3 days away (the build date however hadn't advanced, and it ended up being about one month later than originally planned).

Colchester.
They noted to me today they have this years' build slots in... GTS ST = 1....

I'm down the list a little way so am suspecting I'll be lucky to see a car next year now... Which will mean a 2yr wait from ordering....

We'll see. I guess people could drop out and/or Porsche put more build slots in for next year.
