I was able to activate PIRM but InnoDrive and ALK both show "activation in progress."

For several days, in the case of ALK.

Does anyone know if there's a way to kickstart these downloads?

I have the exact same problem. I’ve had the issue escalated with Porsche Connect support and it’s been nearly 1 month with no sign of progress. I’ve looked into many solutions but it looks like Porsche doesn’t know why some vehicles aren’t taking the FOD updates. I’ll keep you posted if I hear of anything from Porsche.

I had the same problem and went to the PC. They fixed it by a reset of the PCM(so they claimed, but I had done that myself before without luck).
I did loose my preferences in the PCM, maybe they have another reset method?

Could be, next question is HOW ? :)

Disconnect the 12V battery for a minute?
(That's how I did it in my Opel Ampera=Chevrolet Volt).

Factory is a menu option (buried somewhere!). But defo something an owner can do. You'll need to login again with your Porsche ID when its completed.

I hate to set everything back up again, but if it will fix my stuck FODs I'll try it.

I've reached out to my dealer, Porsche Connect support, etc. The only things I haven't tried at this point are a factory reset of the PCM or giving up and making a service visit.

Well I tried the PCM factory reset - it did not help.

Was it the same problem? You selected an FOD option and it showed as “the service you selected is awaiting activation and you will be able to use it shortly” ?

I've confirmed privacy deactivated, parking brake on, P mode, nothing in updates.

I have not tried sitting on the update menu and leaving it there 2-3 mins. I have tried entering/reentering updates frequently though.

Yes, exactly the same. It stayed like that for weeks.
And I also tried every trick I could think of, but no luck.
A visit to the PC was necessary and they fixed it.
They said they did a reset of the PCM, but I suspect they did more than that.
Anyway, I now have the FODs.
