I always feel the Taycan was rushed to market.
Far too many issues that should have come to light under testing.

I assume they produced it along their usual timescales, without thinking about the intricacies of it being the first of a kind, with a whole new spectrum of teething problems.

IMO, the traditional Porsche bit they got right (driving dynamics. Chassis etc).
It's mostly the new stuff that brought the problems. And not having technicians trained or ready to deal with it.

Heater issues prevail in the Macan EV so not a lot has changed (apparently).

Heater is already covered by a recall (free replacement even after warranty). I don't think NHTSA can do much more.

Impression I am getting from recent posts is that cars with replaced heaters and newer Taycans produced with improved heaters are experiencing failures - but not sure. Also, why aren't repairs available quickly for this potential safety problem?
Well worth reporting to NHTSA.

Edit: heater replacements were not "recalls".

In my case, once the dealer saw me they were able to take care of me quickly. Replacement was available immediately, so I think some people might be getting the runaround, or some dealers just happen to be better prepared.
