Hi all,

just introducing myself as I've just ordered a Taycan 4S Cross Turismo which they say is expected Q4 this year to Q1 next year. we're not new to the Porsche family as my wife has a 2000 Boxster S

Sounds nice.
The 1 thing i missed off my spec, which i wish i had (and should be standard) is Lane change assistance. Car has some big old blind spots.

And don't forget auto fold wing mirrors (another thing that should be standard).

Sensible advice from BigBob. Auto dimming morrors are cheap enough and excellent upgrade too.
Not sure what you mean by 'Black Accent Package' or 'Sound Package Plus'?
Mamba is such a great colour go for 'Accent Package in exterior colour'
A flash of green through the car interior is cool and Darksilver bits are low key and classy....?
You will have noticed regular poster Frank has a Mamba 4S CT so you are in good company!
The metal double bubble roof is better looking than the glass...
But..... with no glass roof and black interior its a bit dark in the back!
If you are carrying kids in the back and not celebrities or rappers then
ditch the Privacy Glass. People love it but I think its a bit naff!

I have a GTS ST incoming in Mamba Green. Have you seen the colour in real life?

ha yes, I'm on enough forums for the Boxster, the Ranger and the Z3s to know not to take stuff personally lol.

I've swung from the following:

Kia EV6
Great electronics and range but does not have the fit and finish at the moment

Jaguar I-Pace
Great car, good range and fast but they cancelled my order as the 2024 model came out, then put the price up massively for the same car

Polestar 3
Great on paper and the initial launch reviews but looooong lead times and it's just been launched so will be full of holes

Porsche Taycan
Lovely fit and finish, for me the RWD ST was just a little gutless as the Jag is faster, lots of options to individualise the car but then again lots of cost too. The 4S CT was the decider, good stance, AWD and as it was a smidge above the cost of the Jag... well you'd always go Porsche wouldn't you?

I don't know what the infotainment is like but it's got to be better than Jag/LandRover (had 2 F-Paces and currently have Velar), I'm hoping for good things though

Never seen it sunny in Lancashire (Ormskirk area) so Privacy not needed... Down south and in France it's vital IMHO..
