it all depends what NEMA supply cable it came with and what plug you had installed in your garage - it seems to be a 40 amp charger (9.6 kw) vs. 32 amps for the Mustart

it should be slightly faster than the Mustart.

Yeah, seems that way to me too - thanks!

That's the standard charger unless you pay extra for the Porsche Mobile Charger Connect (PMCC) or is it different stateside?
Yes. This is the standard charger in the US.
It’s listed under standard equipment.

I got it as standard in the UK when I ordered but it is now chargeable if you configure it, but the performance battery has lowered in price so overall it’s about the same cost as I paid for the same configuration.
I got a standard charging lead, then mobile connect plus and 2 cables with it (one for a bayonet one for a standard home 3 pin socket)

From what I understand, there isn't a "standard" charger anymore. Ie: if you go to a build a car, it's an extra option to add it.

I didn’t do anything special with the cable when I ordered, so mine’s coming with a 14-50 supply cable. But...I ended up deciding to install a 30A receptacle...so now I have to order a separate 14-30 supply cable at $114 from Porsche. Oh well. I guess I’ll have the 14-50 for the road if I ever need it...

It’s still listed under standard equipment. I confirmed with my dealer that mine is coming with it. Ordered mid (late?) Feb.

They have a bunch of options for supply cables plus the option for the charging cable length. I don’t think it makes sense to have these options unless there’s a charger to option them for.

Weird, for me it was an extra cost option, so I declined it and bought a 3rd party one and the car came with it anyway lol

Does the charger work with a 30 amp circuit, but just needs a different cable?

Can't you swap out the receptacle for a 14-50 and just run it on a 30a fuse? (e.g. isn't the wiring the same and the difference is the gauge of the wiring)?
