226 miles - yeah that's what I'm getting more or less - it should be more for this time of year.
A chap in England (RWD PB+) reported 300 miles a week or so ago after a charge and uPdate but regularly sees 280 miles estimated.

Exactly... i was getting over 400km last year.
Actually, I was never below 400 since day one till uPdate at all!
(And I've never seen more than 430km)

When you use your average consumption figure what range does that typically work out to be?

It's my daily driver: home-work-home (+few kms city driving)... so about 90km per day.
Btw: I couldn't trust that overall average consumption of 19,4kwh/100km.
It's still going down (it was 19,6 or something a month before), and it was going down during winter times as well.
What I'm getting these days reminds me to last November from last year... 24kwh/100km was overall average in November, when I was changing tyres (from 21" summer to 20" winter).

Yeah but what is the consumption xxkm/kwH and then derive the range from the available battery capacity?

That is unbelievable. What distance would you have driven then?

I can at best get 3 mi/kWh over distance but have seen some unbelievable figures as well!

But that is going downhill about 500 meters difference in altitude. ;)
That is over a distance of about 9500 miles since I received the car in October 2020. I must have one of the last MY2020’s built.

As I said few posts ago: app says: 22.402 km @ 19,4kwh/100km, but I don't believe those numbers.
I went through all records and there were just about 10 drives with less than 20 kwh/100km.
Most of drives were in the range of 20-22... so there's no way that overall average could be 19,4 at all.

BTW: I don't think that uPdate had any influence on that... based on what @Dee wrote about SoH, I'd say that my battery just lost 10% of capacity after 1st year...

Edit (@W1NGE : I've been interrupted and I couldn't finnished my math):
22.402 @ 19,4 kwh/100 means: 5,15km per kwh * 83,7 = 431 km.
As I said before, I've never seen (estimated) range higher than 420 (or maybe 426km) and that's why I simply couldn't believe those numbers.

An October car could be MY21 if built in Sep 2020.

What it the model code of your car?

Thanks - my mistake I meant to ask for the 10th character of your VIN code which confirms the model year - L or M (I'm assuming L)?

What was your average speed over these 9500 miles? It would be interesting to plot the correlation between speed and distance somehow. But then of course the ambient temperature also has a huge impact. For a number of reasons I normally reset my overall trip meter. Here are the snaps of distance travelled over different periods as well as the overall consumption (in mi/kWh). The arrows point to some long distance driving, target one way about 2800 km with some city or nearby driving combined. The other two data points are more like lost of local driving with occasional long trip of 1000 km one way. From this data I can not see any significant difference in range or consumption after the update, one way or the other. If I put on my optimistic hat I would say the uPdate has improved my consumption since I get 0.1 mile/kWh more with a higher average speed. And the May and September reading had roughly similar temperatures. The uPdate was performed before the last trip in the graphs.

But I am not even close to getting 3.9 mi/kWh.

Perhaps need to drive closely behind a big container lorry in the drag, to get that?

That’s me. Best I’ve got is 314 miles at 100% in London with 3.6 miles per kWh. I’m regularly getting 280 to 290 miles over the summer just gone.

@Kingske seeing 350 miles is amazing, especially for a 4S. Share your dark arts 😅
