Taycan software update - reported problems post update

Not true! It took 2 days for new software to be installed in my 2020 Taycan and there were zero issues with the update. In fact apple carplay now works and there are some great new features

Exactly. It's more involved than it sounds, your dealership will need to work to install it. My car is perfect (so far) and the ACP is awesome. If there is a "bricK" , my premier dealer has no knowledge of it....

Just had the update installed. No issues at all. It took almost 2 days at the dealership. Had to bring my charger as well. It’s a really good update. Some small tweaks to pcm and a few major improvements like wireless Apple CarPlay and GPS controlled air suspension (when I arrive at a high curb and I press the button to raise the car i‘m asked if I want to remember this location so it raises on its own the next time I arrive at this location). So far I’m very happy with it.

Clockwise on my TBS! Zero negative issues for me neither, and everything is working just fine as it suppose to

Although my car didn't blow up and the software was not withdrawn, nor was my car bricked etc, I did have some problems/disappointments with this upgrade

- I did not lose any weight.
- My hairline is still receding.
- No sign that my sense of humor has progressed beyond the dad jokes that have my kids rolling their eyes.

As for the positive things, I have lots to say, but I will put those in a better thread than this disaster of a thread.

Those should all be covered under warranty.

Still, it's obvious that the updates are fine, it's just a local problem.
And maybe started the thread in a wrong way.
We know better now.

help .. the same day Porsche announced me that the update was just gone fine ... the private mode was actived ! I cannot find my car anymore ... where is my car ? help ! they just lost it ! how it can be possible ?
updates loose the cars !!! beware... I am so sorry to not tell you before on this forum

after calling them ... and finally got them after long minutes, they told me I had to set again my preferences .... as it was brand new
way too much stress for me
don't go for the update if you are not strong enough ... tough times guys

No drama. This is entirely normal. I assume you are joking!?

Just go to your car, login with your Porsche Connect ID and then disable private mode and "problem" solved.

If left in private mode most of your remote car online services will be deactivated.

I was NOT in private mode when I got the car back. I parked it and now it's in Private mode...I did not set that. Not a big deal, but annoying.

Maybe we found a glitch

Mine did the same. Must be a part of the update checklist. No big deal

Not a glitch. Not all settings are saved of which this is one. Your Apple Music may have been disconnected also and may need to be relinked.
