At least from Porsche Leicester with nothing known for 2023. Yet.

They get one dump of allocations for the whole year in Q1. If I am not on that list then looks like I am throwing in the towel and getting myself a convertible F-Type, where I will make Jaguar cool again.

I checked with my dealer this week and they’re all saying no customer GTS ST builds expected to start until Q4 2023. It’s just so frustrating to have something advertised for sale, commit to buying and then having to wait 2 years until they POSSIBLY think about building it….. c’est la vie

It's crazy and feel for you guys. Here in europe you order to an allocation no wait lists and get your car in 4-6 months provided no shortages of components.

Christ - when did you order and from where?

It seems a GTS ST has a longer wait time than a 911 GT3.

That does not sound good.

I ordered same time Porsche Leicester (Sytner).

Jardine (Cambridge) is a similar size.

If it's Q4 2023 for an allocation that's very likely me cancelling.

I'm reading about F1eng - Frank and some others waiting since July last year or close on 16 months from order until now (batteries MIA). We are looking at in excess of 20 months which is just nonsense!

It is a really odd situation specific to the GTS ST in particular. Why launch the model with such a fanfare if the production numbers were going to be so limited. We are used to this with Porsche's GT range but its a really odd thing to do with a GTS model. I would say there are more 992 GT3s on the road (and coming) than GTS ST Taycans! Seems particularly acute in the UK but not limited to UK clearly.

As a data point, I ordered my GTS ST in August in the Netherlands, and I had a build slot immediately for June next year.

Seems particularly acute in the UK but not limited to UK clearly.

Perhaps some component is more hard to come by or they reserve the third motor for the Turbo models because they are more lucrative.

There is clearly some reason why the GTS ST seems to be as "rare" as some of the 911 models, which is bizarre.

Otherwise perhaps end of this year and Q1 there will be a flood of allocations. That would be even more bizarre though based on how tight supply has been.

So I am now not expecting anything until late summer at the earliest.

When they launched the GTS ST, they probably hadn’t factored in the Ukraine / Russia war into their supply chain logistics.
